Chapter 20 - A Case

Aerielle is at her desk table in the main room where some assignments are being dropped reading a romance book while she is free.

"What?! He has liked her for a very long time, but he let his friend confess to her!"

"That's such an interesting book, Aerielle. Are you into romance?"

Aerielle was surprised by her sudden appearance.

"Eh?! Oh! Good morning... captain...?"

Aerielle is not sure what to call her inside since Bell said to her that she can call her big sis Bell.

"Fine, fine, fine. You can call me captain when we are here. Do you have any plans?"

"No. I am waiting for an assignment to assign to me."

"Then can you come with me today?"

"Eh?.. There's a lot of us here, why me?"

"It's because you're free."

"You're right... But where?"

"I'm going to buy jewelry."

"We are in the middle of nowhere. Our base is located at the top of a mountain and there's no nearby jewelry shop here. Also, we are the southmost part of the kingdom."

"I know. We are going to the city!"

"Tech City?"

"No! Jurie City! It is near Tech City!"

"Okay..."

"Let's go now!"

"But I'm in my uniform."

"It's fine!"

The two step out of their base and fly up in the sky using Aerielle's Float Magic and Bell's Wind Magic.

At the Front Warriors' Base.

Amon is sitting in his office room until one of his members knocks on the door.

"Come in."

His member stands in front of him to say something.

"Captain, the newbies have already arrived at Jurie City. So there's a lot more guards now compared to before."

"I see... I heard that the city government also requested some help from the Strategy Team, right?"

"You're right."

"Then the duty of our members is to secure the city at all cost to prevent the increasing case of robbery."

"Yes."

"Anything else?"

"No. That's all."

"You may leave now."

"Thank you, captain."

The member leaves his room and Amon continues what he is doing.

"Captain?"

"Hm?"

"What kind of jewelry are you going to buy?"

"A necklace whose pendant is like an orb."

"Oh! That makes me want to buy jewelry too!"

"Really?! Then let's go buy yours!"

"Not now! I'm saving my money!"
