Chapter 34 - Shards

The woman lands above the tree while standing using her one feet and holding onto the branch above. Her left leg is severely injured and bleeds alot.

"You scums! This is unforgivable!"

She removes the spider lilies spell and gives Axia and Ren to buy some time to rest themselves.

She is trying to grow flowers in order to heal her leg. Instead of blooming, it didn't bloom and dried out to fall.

"This can't be happening! My wounds won't heal! He just slashed me with that sword and now my wounds won't heal! That sword! I don't feel any magic from it! But... how did it cancels my healing?!" Her thoughts.

The man who is sleeping at the house of the owner of the tailor shop suddenly wakes up. He is sweating and breathing heavily.

"What a bad dream..."

He looks at the window to see that the rain is still pouring heavily.

"Looks like it doesn't stop. I'll go home tomorrow. She must be waiting for me at home."

He is about to return to bed but he feels his chest tighten.

"Arghh! It hurts! This feeling... She must be..."

He gets up quickly on his bed and runs outside from the house of the owner of the tailor shop to return home.

"Wait for me... please..."

"I will not forgive all of you! It hurts!"

Flower Magic - 8th Phase: Death Flowers

She grows numerous flowers which scatter around the area to cover. All of the trees around are being covered by flowers and Axia and Ren are slicing everything up. However, once the flower touches their feet, it starts to crawl up to their body and they need to cut it before it dominates them.

"This is bad! The flowers are crawling up!" Axia said to himself as he cut the flowers from his feet.

Ren kicks Axia since he is about to cast a spell

"Move!"

"Ugh! What are you doing?!"

"Get back!"

Blood Magic - 7th Phase: Pool Of Blood

He jumped above the sky and released his blood as if it were raining blood and the whole area is now covered by it and the flowers dissolve from it. The house is also free from the flowers since it was dissolved.

However, he lands and falls on his knees. Axia, who was thrown from the back, goes to him.

"Ren! What are you doing?! You'll die if you lose too much blood!"

"That's a strong magic but a reckless one. Blood magic is indeed strong but it has a drawback to its user. Too much blood loss will result in their death." The woman said.

Ren laughs a bit.

"Hahaha! Don't worry, I will not die from it. Hey flower girl! I'm just warming up, you know."

He looks at her eyes and the woman's eye closes a bit as she is interested in what he will do next.

"Is that so? Then, can you avoid this? With too much blood loss it will be impossible for you to win from this. Even that sword guy cannot escape from this."

Flower Magic - 9th Phase: Cherry Blossom

She grows numerous sakura trees from her sides to bloom cherry blossoms. The cherry blossoms are being carried by the winds to attack them.

"Let's see if you can escape from this. This is much more difficult to escape than petal blades since it is much smaller and faster to move. But be cautious, it is incredibly sharp."

Axia is going for an attack but Ren stops him.

"Stop right there. Get close to me. I can handle this."

Blood Magic - 3rd Phase: Creative

The cherry blossoms are about to attack but Ren created a circle barrier surrounding them and the house. The cherry blossoms are hitting the barrier but are not strong enough to break through.

The woman couldn't believe that all of her cherry blossoms attacks are nothing to Ren.

"Is that it?" Ren is making fun of her.

"Shut-"

She is about to finish her sentence but Axia slices her right hand and teleports to a nearby flower. He is aiming for her head but she goes down and her right hand is above.

"This guy.... I didn't feel him!" She's shocked.

Axia didn't return to Ren. He is cutting up all of the nearby flowers inside the forest.

Axia's PoV: "She can teleport in a nearby flower at incredible speed. She got inside the house earlier since there's a flower in the living room. Now, if I destroy all of these flowers, she can no longer escape."

The woman and Ren watch him cut all of the flowers at incredible speed. Ren removes the spell to have a short rest. And then, Axia disappears into the thin air.

"Where did he go?"

The woman becomes curious about her surroundings and grows multiple flowers inside the forest but the umbrella suddenly appears and destroys it.

"I will not let you..." she said in a calm way but she's in full rage.

At incredible speed, Axia shows up from below to a surprise attack.

Sword Wielding Technique - 2nd Phase: Full Swing

He swings his sword to slice up her head. Unfortunately, multiple shards in the shape and size of a shark's teeth block his sword.

"I-it won't cut through... Just like the spider lilies! And a shard... this is not her magic!" He observed.

Ren shouts that he needs to go back.

"Get back in here!"

He gets back beside Ren and numerous shards are coming towards them.

Ellysa steps forward and opens her umbrella. The umbrella becomes incredibly big and blocks the shards successfully.

"Well that is nice."

A man coming towards the woman said.

The woman cries and goes to him.

"C-crale! I-I can't win! They are going against me!"

"You're still a crybaby. It's okay. Once we're done here. Your friends will be with you. I also told you earlier that I will help you but you didn't want to. You'll never get your other hands back. That man's sword has anti-healing."

"No way!"

"Step back now. I'll finish this."

"No way! My rank is higher than yours!"

"It doesn't matter whether you're superior to me. You still have strengths and weaknesses and the same goes for me."

"No way! I want to go fight them!"

"You know that I cannot stop you. We will be a double trouble for them now. For our revenge."

Meanwhile, the three prepare themselves for the worst possible thing to come.
