Chapter 38 - Monster

    "I don't understand what you are talking about! Experience what we've done to you?! Who are you?! Get out!"

    "Don't play like you are the victim here! You don't really remember what you've done to us?! You broke me! You broke us! Just like how you broke my soul!"

Shard Magic - 13th Phase: Broken Soul

Crale extends his wings and shoots it out. Ito knows that the shards is no longer an ordinary spell, it's a stronger one. Ito extends his hands and fingers to cast a spell.

Thread Magic - 4th Phase: Love Waves

He shoots numerous threads from his fingers to deflect all of the incoming shards. The threads are so strong that it cuts down many trees along the way and Crale and Eris were washed away. 

    "You might be an idiot to understand this. But love is the most powerful thing in this world."

Crale just laughs it off.

    "Hahaha. Oh really? Love huh? Is this a war between love and hatred? Well, if you'll ask me, I'll choose hatred? You know why? Because I hate the existence of you three."

As he said the last eight words, Ito feels the brewing anger inside of Crale. 

Ito releases numerous threads to attack Crale. However, the shards cut all of it.

    "Playtime's over."

He stands up and numerous shards are now circling on his head.

Shard Magic: Broken Soul of Hatred

     "Be careful. I think he unlocked the special technique of his own magic. Watch out. I am an inexperienced fighter. I couldn't be that much of a help." Ito said to Axia and Ren.

    "U-uh… Are you Tanasha's brother?!" Axia asks him.

    "Yes, I am her brother. Thank you for sacrificing your own life in order to protect her. Thank you so much. I'll repay both of you even if I have to sacrifice my own life, to help both of you."

    “He looks so tired… I wonder how long he traveled just to get in here…” Axia’s thoughts.

Ito scatters his threads in numerous directions all over the place.

    “What is that for?” Ren asks him.

    “It will give us some time to counter their attacks. That flower girl is much weaker compared to the shard guy. Also, it can detect surprise attacks.”

    “How so? The woman’s magic is much higher.”

    “Strength, will-power, and extreme emotion manifests huge amounts of mana as it absorbs the energy in its surroundings whether it is positive or negative. He’s full of distorted emotions.”

Eris goes to Crale but she is pushed away and hits the trunk of the felled tree.

    “It…hurts… Crale! What are you doing?!”

    “You better shut your mouth… or else… I’ll kill you too.”

Eris slaps him on his cheek to the point his cheeks turned red.

    “You’re so mean! So mean! We always get along! But why are you doing this to me?! You changed! You changed! You said that we will fulfill this duty together! You’re so-”
