Chapter 43 - Feel and Seal

Aerielle is inside Bell’s office talking to her about her request.

    “Uhm…” Aerielle couldn't speak directly to her because of her nervousness.

    “What is it?” Bell is ignoring her nervousness and just keeps on smiling at her to loosen her up a little bit.

    “I actually don't know if I have the right to do this but… I want to tell my friend’s mother that he’s awake now…”

    “Well… for me… I don't see any problem with it. You are just going to remind her. Also, you are the fastest traveler among your friends, isn't?”

    “That's true…”

    “You can go whenever you want.” 

    “Thank you so much!”

Aerielle stands up on her chair and goes to the door. Before she leaves Bell asks her if she needs her help and Aerielle says no that she can handle it herself.

She goes to her room and takes a shower. Then she puts on her clothes and after that, she leaves their base.

She flies for a few hours and finally reaches their small community. She goes down and many of their neighbors are greeting her. She greets them back with a smiling face and now goes to Axia’s home.

She knocks three times on the door and someone answers, “Please wait for a moment!” The person opens the door and it is Axia’s mother. “Oh! Aerielle! How are you?! It's been so long!”

    “Hello, auntie! It's been a while!”

    “You're grown up already! Come on in!”

Axia’s mother gives her a warm welcome and serves her a cup of tea and sits beside her. “Thank you for visiting me.” She says with a warm tone.

After releasing all of her nervousness earlier, another one attacks her again. She's worried about the reaction of Axia's mother if she will say thatr her son is now awake.

    “Uhm… auntie.”

    “Is there a problem?”

Aerielle clenches her fists, bows her head, and closes her eyes, “I'm really sorry about what happened to Axia!”

The mother grabs her hand and puts it on her thighs. “Thank you so much. You really care about him.”

Tears started flowing down on both of their eyes.

    “There's a lot of things that we do not expect in our lives. We can only accept, learn, and move on. But you know… my son has changed a lot because of all of you, his friends. He fought for the poor siblings with all of his might and I am proud of that. Though it is sad that he got severely injured, but I know that he is also proud of himself… we are also proud of him.”

She gets her handkerchief from her pocket and wipes Aerielle’s tears. “You should not blame yourself. Axia is happy with what he is doing. We are only here to support and be his shoulder. Your job is scary and I am aware of that especially during the first chaos in the city. I will not stop him from doing this job, seeing him happy with all of the things that have is enough for me… He suffered during his childhood and now he wants to end other people's suffering that's why he joined this.”

After a few minutes of crying, both of them calmed down. Aerielle gathers her courage and speaks, “Auntie… actually… Axia is awake. This is the reason why I am here, to deliver this message… I'm sorry if you think that I am here to visit you!”

Axia's mother laughs a little. “No, don't think that. Remembering that you need to deliver this is enough for me. This is a sign of visiting me.”

    “Oh…”
