Chapter 23 - The Night Attack

Two days after the thief has been caught. The city feels relaxed now compared to before. Everyone can now sleep without worrying about their safety and security at night.

At the Tech City Court,

The thief was sent to a trial court. Daisuke was assigned to present the evidence alongside the owner of the shop and Ren.

The suspect was tied in a chair because of his violence towards other people and keeps on denying that he has no connection to the past case of Daisuke.

"How many timesdo I have to tell you that I have no connection to the stupid bandits that you're mentioning?!"

"If you have no connection to the bandits then how can you be so smart to hide from us?" Daisuke said as he intimidated him.

"What do you mean?!"

"You committed a lot of robbery in the city-"

"A lot?! That was my first time robbing someone!"

"How can you be so sure?! People like you deny everything just to save their ass!

"I'm telling the truth! I just stole that necklace because my little sister has been looking at it for many days! Since our family doesn't have that much money, I decided to steal it!"

As soon as he heard his statement, his head lowered and his eyes looked at the judge

"Ehem! The other side has no strong evidence to present that you're with the bandits. Then, you will be charged for robbery since you also confessed!"

The thief was dragged by the Royal Guards and sent to prison.

Daisuke stays in the room of the judge to have a chit chat while drinking tea.

"I really can't believe that you requested me to be the judge!" He said as he laughed.

"I have no trust in the other judge, uncle. I'm pretty sure that the bandits were being led by a rich person."

"You're really just like your brother Daichi! Having a strong sense of justice and wanting to maintain peace in this world!"

Meanwhile, the members of the Front Warriors have already left the city and Bell and Aerielle too. Kagami, Axia, and Kanku stay in the city for more.

"Senior Kanku. How are you sure that he is not the real one?" Kagami asked her.

"He's pretty dumb."

"Huh?.."

"Wait- no- I mean... My magic is telling me that he is not the real one..."

"I agree with senior Kanku. They are intelligent, right? That one is pretty dumb."Axia said.

"Can you guys use more nice words... By the way, senior, what do you mean by your magic?"
