Donghyuck woke up surprisingly refreshed. The first thing he did was glance at the clock to check on time. 11 AM. Normal. Considering what he did last night. Then after yawning a couple of times and stretching, feeling pain below, he looked at Mark to check on him.
The teacher laid on his stomach and slept soundly, unaware of the time and, perhaps, a place he was in. His whole back, which had a few scratches, was naked and open to the cool temperature of the room. Although they were almost the same age, Donghyuck's paternal instincts kicked in, and he covered the man with a blanket, clinking his tongue right after.
Donghyuck then sat up, thinking of going to the bathroom and taking a morning pill or something. But the mattress bent as he sat, and such a slight movement woke up Mark. Opening his eyes, blinking every two seconds, and then covering his face, Mark groaned. He dropped on his back the next second and, proving Donghyuck wrong, in a husky voice, he said, "Good morning, Donghyuck."
He knew where he was and with whom he was.
"Your voice," Donghyuck shivered. "Did you catch a cold?"
"That's my normal morning voice," Mark chuckled. "But my throat does hurt a little."
"Gosh... Why did you run in the rain?" Donghyuck clicked his tongue and shook his head.
"Your jacket—"
"Tomorrow, you have classes. You can't get sick," Donghyuck ranted, suddenly getting troubled and feeling a little guilty that it happened because of him.
"It's fine," Mark sat up and touched the younger's hand. "Really. I won't get sick. That's very rare."
"If you say so."
They were silent for a couple of minutes. Then as if mutually agreeing, they got up and looked for clothes. Donghyuck planned to shower, so he just wore a robe and sat back on the bed, gazing out the window. Mark, on the other hand, started wearing clothes from yesterday as if planning to leave.
"Honestly," he said suddenly, facing Donghyuck and at the same time wearing the turtleneck, "yesterday was really dope. Thank you a lot. I enjoyed it."
"Dope? What the hell, hyung?" Donghyuck laughed. "And did you just thank me?"
Blushing a little, Mark said shyly, "It's been a while since I got laid. I'm a teacher, you know. People who work in an office have many opportunities to get into relationships with the same age people or at least with the people they get to know well. But I'm working with kids. My co-workers and I part ways a lot. I'm also a workaholic..."
Even though Mark's reason was valid, Donghyuck couldn't take him seriously. Especially when his hair turned messy after he put on the turtleneck over his head. So, he chuckled but regretted it the moment, he saw Mark getting visibly upset.
"Well, me too. It had been a while since I had sex too," Donghyuck opened up a little. "So, I also should thank you. It was good."
Mark was flattered by Donghyuck's last words but tried not to show it. Instead, he shared a phrase he had heard before.
"Someone once said that sex is like air. It's not important unless you aren't getting any," Mark laughed and so did Donghyuck. "Hey, but by any chance, are you a workaholic too?"
"I'm not a workaholic. I just work a lot. But when the weekend comes, I turn very lazy."
The silence then was about to occur, but Donghyuck prevented it, feeling like it was the right moment to gather more information from Mark. Since they were talking so friendly, why don't they talk about more interesting matters?
