"I can't believe we're doing this..." Donghyuck mumbled as the car stopped by the sidewalk.

"Everything is going to be fine," Mark soothed him with his words, then turned off the car engine. "I made the list of topics to talk about. I'm well prepared."

"Are you emotionally prepared, though?" Donghyuck glanced at him contemptuously.

"I am," Mark laughed. "How come you more nervous than me?"

"It's because we're talking about my father," Donghyuck scoffed in disbelief that after witnessing the man's terrorism with words, Mark was still in a good mood. "If something goes wrong, he will come out of there crusty."

"Crusty?" Dongchan snapped from the phone game he was playing. "I like pizza crust."

"Me too," Mark turned around and high-fived a kid.

Donghyuck sighed and reached for the door handle. He knew sitting there and discussing the possible outcome wouldn't bring any luck. He had to face that they were about to go into his family house and introduce Mark as his man. So, rushing through the process, Donghyuck got out of the car and urged the other two to do the same. Dongchan appeared by Papa's side right away, meanwhile, Mark went to take the gift out of the car trunk. A modern type of calculator for the family of mathematicians. This made Donghyuck nervous, but the situation didn't get any better when Mark walked to him. They had to go inside. Right now.

Mark initiated it and walked to the door first. He rang the doorbell instead of Donghyuck, and the younger was thankful as he felt like he would dwell on time even more.

They heard footsteps, and soon, the door was opened by Donghyuck's mother. She knew about their visit, so there was no surprise on her face. She greeted them quietly, then let them inside. Dongchan was so familiar with this house that he didn't wait for his parents and walked further inside just as he took off his shoes. The two heard the grandpa's voice and how he babied Dongchan in surprise his grandchild came there. Donghyuck took a deep breath. Okay, it's now or never.

He grabbed Mark's hand and dragged him into the living room, where, as expected, the main target was present. Dad was in the armchair, with Dongchan on his lap. He looked so relaxed and happy, which was very contrasting to how his face changed upon noticing Mark. He wore a frown on his face, his eyes narrowed down.

"Hi, Dad. I thought we would come by and visit you. It's been a while since we saw each other," Donghyuck said when he rehearsed a few hours ago. Then continued what Mark wrote in their script of How to talk to Scary Dad, "I also brought someone I would like you to get to know better."

It didn't take long for Dad to realize what was going on there. His eyes were already on the hands of the two, so he was well aware they took a huge step.

"Hell no," he grunted.

Donghyuck thought he would ask Dongchan to get off his lap, but instead, the man hugged the kid as if the two would want to take him away.

"That's not very nice," Donghyuck awkwardly laughed, then proceeded with the script. "You already know Teacher Lee, Dad. But this time, before you is—"

"Don't even say it."

"Before you is Mark, Dad. Mark and I are living together and—"

"YOU'RE LIVING TOGETHER?"

"For quite a while," Mark smiled subtly.

"Do you hear it, honey?" Dad scoffed and turned at his wife, who stood aside, and waited for her turn to interfere.

"I do, and I'm very happy about it."

Dad looked at Mom as if she were crazy.

"There's something more we have to say," Donghyuck cleared his throat.
