The inside of the car was clean, surprisingly. Either he joked about all the damage his spicy time caused, called the reinforcement, also known as cleaning services, or cleaned it all himself. However, that didn't change the fact that Dongmin needed an extra day to erase the traces of him and his girlfriend. Donghyuck no longer wanted to have anything to do with his brother as soon as he got back his car! He sent him back home after they both promised to keep their secrets from their parents. Even though they were already adults, their parents were still scary...

Donghyuck returned to the monotonous life. Working and picking up Dongchan was so implanted in his routine that he felt a slight feeling of nostalgia when he remembered how his weekend went. But then he got ashamed of himself! Dongchan was his priority, how could he even think this way?

But no matter how hard he tried to fit into his routine and enjoy a little bit of it, that one person always made a mess out of Donghyuck's day. He couldn't stop thinking about his son's goddamn teacher, and it wasn't even related to schoolwork! As if thoughts and memories weren't enough, it all renewed when he ran into Mark on Wednesday morning, and his day hadn't been the same ever since. For some reason, he could hardly focus at work, and when he finally did, he had to pick Dongchan, which reminded him of Mark again.

They were passive after the steamy weekend but didn't forget to greet each other. Mark bowed each time he saw Donghyuck, no matter whether it was early morning or afternoon. The younger waved to him, smiling politely, but he was sure there was always something mischievous in his eyes because Mark turned away each time and seemed flustered.

The only time they talked had to be Thursday, right before Friday, and it was normal, considering how much of a workaholic Teacher Lee was. Mark approached Donghyuck's car and knocked on the window. Lowering the window down, the younger gifted the teacher with the widest smile.

"Well, hello," Donghyuck said and then flirtatiously pushed the back of his hand under his chin. "What brings you here, Teacher Lee?"

"I'll be ten minutes late tomorrow," Mark said, flushing a little, but playing it cool.

"Sure," Donghyuck nodded.

He didn't ask why. He didn't care.

But even if he asked, Mark wouldn't have been able to answer.

Just like he said, he was late for about ten minutes. Donghyuck saved Mark's time, so he and his son had already started with the reading task. He instantly noticed Teacher Lee's hard work when he assisted Dongchan in reading. The kid learned his weaknesses, and when something went wrong, he didn't cry but tried over again.

"Channie, you're so good," Donghyuck gasped, clasping his hands together and putting them on his chest. "Papa's heart is very happy right now!"

At the same time, the doorbell rang, informing them about Mark's arrival. Donghyuck rose from the floor, telling Dongchan to take a little break. As he approached the door and opened it, he happily shared about his son's achievements. Mark listened to it all but didn't step in for quite a while.

"Why are you standing there, hyung?" Donghyuck asked in confusion. "Come in, please."

Donghyuck's ear caught something rustling. Before he could realize it, Mark pulled out a big bouquet of pink and red camellias.

"For you," he said gently, extending his arm and giving it to Donghyuck.

"Oh... for m-me?" the younger stuttered as he was caught off guard.

Flowers? Why?

"They're so pretty. Thank you," he commented, taking the bouquet. "But what's the occasion?"
