"Master Fierce.. needs you."
My eyes lazily glanced at him. "I don't have time for games." ibinalik ko ulit iyon sa aking pinanonood ng wala na siyang sinabi. Perhaps this was one of his annoying pranks again. How on earth Fierce would need me when he forgot about me and just busied working his ass off.
"Master Fierce isn't in a good shape right now.. He was poisoned." seryoso niyang wika kaya naman napabaling na ako sa kanya.
Marahan akong bumaba ng kama. "What happened?"
"Just come with me." iritable niyang sagot.
I watched him with my cold gaze. For the last time I would trust this idiot, but if I found out that this was one of his pranks, I swear I will kill him! Nilagpasan namin ang kwarto ni Fierce, at bumaba kami sa unang palapag ng mansion. Medyo kumunot ang aking noo ng mabasa ang Infirmary sa labas ng pinto.
"If this one of your pranks, idiot. I swear I'll mutilate you, scumbag!" wika ko nang huminto na kami sa harapan ng pinto.
"Tss.."
Binuksan niya ang pinto at sumenyas na pumasok ako. My face was blank as I entered. My eyes scanned the place and it really was an infirmary, with enough facilities. I saw the two persons in white gown and.. Marko La Nostra. Nang mapadako ang aking mga mata sa taong nakahiga sa hospital bed ay kumunot na ang aking noo.
I didn't move but Maddox has started nudging my side. My lips pursed. I heaved a deep sigh and pushed myself to move normally. I didn't know what to do or to say. Do I need to greet him or-
"Lioness Schultz." the old man's uttered my name.
I cleared my throat almost not wanting meeting the old man's gaze. "Marko La Nostra." bahagya kong tinapunan ng tingin si Fierce. He looked awful with his disheveled hair, paled face with dark circled under his eyes and dried lips. "What happened to him?" I now fully faced Marko La Nostra.
The old man breathed out. He seemed not happy with my presence but he just have to deal with me. "He got poisoned." my forehead creased. He was poisoned in his own house? "He has absorbed poison thru the bullet that has grazed his arm." inilahad niya ang braso ni Fierce kung saan nadaplisan ng bala kahapon. It was neatly dressed now.
My heart started hammering. Yesterday. When we've got encountered at that Seaport. That's why I had a weird feeling about his wound.
"How was he? Has he got antidotes?" I got a bit panicked.
Marko didn't reply to me and just stared at his son. Nilingon ko si Maddox na nasa aking gilid pero wala rin siyang naging sagot. I scowled at them. Nilingon ko ang dalawang doctor, they could have.. maybe they could give me a better explaination.
"He'll be fine. He just took the antidote, by now it counteracts and neutralizes the effects. Sometime late that's why he looked dreadful now." sagot sa akin ng lalaking nakaputi.. my mouth agape when I noticed him. He smiled back at me. Killian Russo.
"He'll be fine soon, Lioness." wika rin ng isa pang nakaputi. Napatanga rin ako sa kanya. Neith Holsten just gave me a boyish smile.
So these two, were now playing the heroic doctors to save the day.
"He's refusing to take any antidotes, he wanted to see you first.." Maddox commented. Naputol ang nagdududa kong tingin kila Killian at Neith at napabaling ako sa kanya.
"He was in his delirious state and yet he's refusing any treatment." dagdag na wika ni Killian. "He started breaking things and we must first have to sedate him to calm him down. And yet he's still praying for your name." he shook his head. "Hard headed."
