Sticking my head inside the infirmary after Maddox signaled me to enter. Nakita ko kaagad si Killian kausap ang isang lalaking naka white robe at dalawang nurses, his gaze moved from his table up to my direction. I even saw Neith on the other side busied of something.
Marahan akong pumasok ngunit masamang tingin muna ang aking iniwan kay Maddox. I told him he shouldn't roaming around me and now he must stay outside of the infirmary.
I cleared my throat while nearing Killian's table. The three people beside him gave me a knowing stare but I just shrugged them off.
"Lioness, what can I do for you?" nauna na siyang bumati bago pa man ako makalapit ng tuluyan. He dismissed the three and my gaze followed them as they left the room.
"Hi, Lioness." Neith greeted me too. Binati ko rin siya pabalik at bumaling na kay Killian.
"Hi, I just want to ask for some medicine. For menstrual cramps." I actually didn't need it since it wasn't yet my period, but had to do it when Maddox had asked me. Dahil pinapatanong daw ito ng kanyang master. I could ask the servants but since I needed something from Killian, meeting him in person was more appealing.
"Okay, we have here.. wait I'll get it for you." he stood up from his chair. Nilingon ko ang banda ni Neith and he's still busied with another patient. Nakahiga ito sa isang hospital bed.
"Or can you give me a depo shot? I was in a depo before but was halted." shrugging my shoulder.
Tumango lamang si Killian sa akin at nagpatuloy sa paghahanap ng kung ano sa isang drawer. He returned to his table with the anti cramps medicine.
He only asked me about the brand of depo that I have been using. And told me they had another brand in the infirmary but they could order my brand of likes. So he could give me on my fifth days.
"Lioness Schultz, didn't know you can just go wander around." wika ng isang nilalang na mabilis na nagpalingon sa akin sa kanyang gawi. There I saw Spencer on one of the hospital beds, sitting. "Hatching and counting eggs, huh?"
"Spencer," tawag ni Killian dito.
"And you? Still a weakling with a broken ribs or indeed a paralyzed patient?" I snorted after saying it.
"Oh so sorry to say this hotness, but I was in a transaction last night and got injured. Not unlike you who looks like in a play house with her lover." he smirked at me.
Crossing my arms I only gave him a smile. "I am not playing here, I am just an unfortunate prisoner. And it's not like I want to stay here."
He laughed hard. "You're funny. Well, you are not bad looking now, I understand if Alfiero is keeping you as his bum chum." his eyes raked me in a malicious way.
"Stop it, Spencer." sabay na saway sa kanya nila Killian at Neith.
"Weakling." masama ko siyang tiningnan. I better leave now before adding more injury to his state, tumayo na ako.
"Just wondering what will happen once you get out of the cave. You know, about your family." my narrowed eyes flew at him and he only gave me a sinister smile. "What's her name again.. your german cousin, the recent-"
"Enough, Spencer!" Killian voice boomed in the room. Pero nakuha na ng buo ni Spencer ang aking atensyon. I strode to his bed but Neith blocked me on going further.
"What about Jacklyn?" may diin kong tanong.
"She really was kept in the dark, huh?" he looked at Neith then to his brother. "Poor girl." he then smugly smile at me. "I mean poor Jacklyn, she's actually a beauty. I prayed for her poor soul." he tssk.
