47. Argument?

He pointed at Kamladevi who was standing as if nothing is going to affect her. All were shocked. Sid got furious. He went and took the hold of the collar of that person. 

Sid (shouted): Yeh kya kehe rha hain? Samjh mein bhi aa rha hain kuch? Kiske baare mein bol raha hain pata hain na tujhe ?

Person: Mein sach bol raha hoon Siddharth ji. Unhone hi humein bola tha yeh sab karne ke liye.. 

He was about to complete his sentence but Sid slapped him hard. He fell down. 

Sid: Niklo yaha se. Aise bolne ki himmat kaise huyi tumhari? Pata bhi hain tum kis par iljaam daal rahe ho? Niklo yaha se isse pehle mein tumhara khoon na kr doon. 

Sid was about to give him one more punch but Avu came in between. 

Avu: What the hell is this Sid? What are you doing? Are you in your senses?

Sid: Are "YOU" in your senses? What the hell is all this? 

Avu: He is saying the truth only Sid. Why are you not understanding? It is the truth. 

Sid: No it's not. I know my dadi. She will not do anything like this. I know. I don't want to ellaborate it. 

Avu: Tum mano ya na mano Sid but yeh tumhari dadi ne hi kiya hain. 

Sid(shouted): Avneet... zabaan sambhal ke. Meri dadi hain woh. Unke khilaaf mein kuch nahi sununga. 

Avu got shocked and hurted. First he called her Avneet and second he is not trusting her. 

Avu (with a calm tone): Sid I know tumhe shock laga hoga but tumhare yeh kehne se sach nahi badalne wala. 

Sid: Just shut up Avneet. And what proof you have that my Dadi has done all this ?

Avu: He is saying...

Sid: Kal ko koi kuch bhi aake tumhare dadi ko kahe toh tum manogi? 

Avu: Sid... 

Sid: Manogi ya nahi?

Avu: Sid listen to me. 

Sid: Please. I don't want any discussion on this. This matter is closed here only. 

Avu: Nahi

She said firmly. She went and brought Anu in front of Sid. 

Avu: Behen mana hain maine isse. Iske pita mere pita ke saman hi hain. Unko insaaf milega aur woh mein dila kar hi rahungi. Proof chahiye na tumhe? Thik hain. Mein dhundh ke laungi proof. Aur saabit kar dungi kaun sahi hai aur kaun galat. 

She said the last line while looking at Kamladevi who just smirked at her. Sid went from there with Ri fuming in anger. Other people also went from there after cursing Anu and Avu. They all decide to do the Antim Sanskaar of Anu's papa first. 

Later that day, all piled up at the river bank for the last rituals of the dead body. Anu followed all the rituals with Aman helping her. All gaav wale were also present there cursing Avu this time Sid as well was upset with Avu. Avu was not even looking at him. She was not angry on him just because he didn't take her side. She is hurt because he didn't trust her. She took Anu from there and went home with Aman, Sonia and Nirmal. 

The day passed with Avu thinking about how to collect the proof against Kamladevi. She was sure that Kamladevi is the one who has done all this but then also she wanted to confirm it. She decided to take rest for sometime and to think about this from the next day. A tear rolled down her eye as she laid on the bed and thought about Sid.

With Sid...

He was sitting in his room near the window when Kamladevi came there.

Kamladevi: Siddharth kya aapko lagta hain ki humne aise kiya hoga?

Sid looked at her and immediately stood up. 

Sid: dadi ji yeh aap kya bol rahi hain? Hum aisa ek pal ke liye bhi nahi soch sakte. Aap chinta mat kijiye humein aap pe pura Bharosa hein. 

Kamladevi just smiled and went from there. Sid remained at his place thinking about Avu. Tear rolled down his eye.
