"Jack! Give it back! It's mine!"
"Sorry Nyx, Looks like it's mine now."
"If you don't give it back I'll tell!"
"Then you'll be a tattletale."
"Mommy!"
I sighed and made my way over to the arguing children.
"Jack, give Nyx's bear back."
"Fine." he handed Nyx the bear, who stuck out her tongue.
"What happened?" Davy asked, coming over.
"Jack took my bear!" Nyx whined, her bright blue eyes glaring at Jack's dark blue ones.
"You weren't even playing with it!"
I stepped next to my husband, while our children bickered.
"What do you think we should do?" I asked him, giving him a playful smirk.
He fingered his now full beard, thinking.
"I have an idea." He winked at me.
"How would you two like to hear a story?" He asked and the children immediately stopped arguing.
"Yes please!" They both said in unison.
"Alright, make yer way to me and yer ma's room, we'll be there shortly."
Both kids took off, dodging past various crew members who chuckled at their excitement.
"Which one are you gonna tell tonight?" I asked Davy.
"Your favorite." He replied, kissing my cheek.
We entered the cabin and I sat on my bed in between my children, while Davy sat across from us on a chair.
"Tonight's story, is how me and yer mom first met."
"Ooooo!" Both kids exclaimed.
I smiled at Davy, who smiled back, then began the story that ends in happily ever after.

I can't believe it's over...thank you guys so much for reading this! At one point I never though I'd finish it, but here we are!
