Family sickness follows

Chapter 4

Liam had been doing various things helping with patients whether helping examine them, chat with them or play cards with some of them. He was now finished and went to get changed and wait for his grandma to meet him. Anne soon met him and they walked out to her car. He opened the door to the passenger seat and sat down with his bag between his feet. The pair chatted on the way home about school and how his volunteering is going.

Once they reached Anne's they got out the car and greeted Robin and went in. "Li, do you fancy a takeaway tonight?" Robin asked. "I do, thank you grandpa" Liam said as he sat next to Robin after the man had closed the door and sat down. Anne had gone to get changed with comfier clothes. Liam chose a pizza take away and chose what he wanted. Once Anne had chosen, Robin rang up and ordered it. After the order was placed and Robin had hung up the phone, they watched some tv, waiting for the pizza to be delivered. The pizza arrived and they sat to eat it around the tv. The three of them enjoyed their pizza and the show they were watching. They all enjoyed their pizza and garlic bread. They finished their pizza, garlic bread and drink, feeling full. Anne went to wash up the dishes. They then played a board game. They played scrabble and after a few rounds, they also played bingo. They soon had dessert being full after their pizza before. Liam went to brush his teeth and changed into his pjs. Robin and Anne followed him. The three soon fell asleep.

Louis got home and opened the door and smiled as he saw Harry on the sofa. He went over and kissed his husband. He looked around, "Where's Li?" Lou asked. 'Mum and Robin have Li for the night," Harry smiled. Lou smiled back at his husband and sat down next to him to cuddle with Harry.

Harry cuddled into his husband for a bit, before saying "Mum brought dinner round, you just need to heat it up when we are ready to eat" Harry said. Louis looked at his husband with a puzzled face. He had forgotten what date this day was. Once he realised it, he stood up and ran to the extra room they have, in case they need a nurse to stay with them, and picked his present for Harry, he hid in there for this day, and ran back to the lounge. He stood up in front of his husband and smiled at him, hiding the present behind his back.

"You may have thought I forgot our anniversary, but I had this put away with you and then lost track of the actual date" Louis smiled as he took the package out from behind his back. "Happy anniversary," Louis smiled. Harry smiled and said Happy anniversary back as the pair kissed passionately. Harry breaks away from it first, smiling. "I have a surprise for you too. Would you like to see it first? Or do we have dinner first?" He asked while he unwrapped the paper from the package. Harry unwrapped the present wondering what his husband got him.

Louis waited for Harry to finish opening his present first before answering. Harry opened his present and smiled, loving the pillows and blanket set Louis got him. "Thanks Lou. This is amazing," admiring all the pictures of them together, just the two of them and the three of them with Li too. As Harry was admiring the pictures he smiled as he saw the one of the two of them not long after they met and Harry had been fostered by Jay. This got Harry chatting about when he was fostered by them. They each shared their memories from that time, smiling, laughing and even tearing up a bit with each one.

Harry then finds a picture from their wedding which was a very small ceremony as they knew with how emotional it would be Harry wouldn't be well at it. They were correct and had the party another time. Louis then pointed out the picture of the pair of them in bed sick on their anniversary. "I remember that Jay was over because we both thought we were sick with food poisoning but it turned out my condition was playing up and you were suffering from real bad morning sickness," Harry smiled. Louis nodded and let out a laugh. "What a shocking surprise that was. Never knew, not even suspected I could be a carrier before that moment we got the news." Louis said, remembering everyone's shocked faces and the multiple different reactions that followed after. "It was when we were told about this place as mum and Jay were staying with us or we were in hospital during the time you were pregnant with Li" Harry said. "I remember I was sceptical at first as I didn't like the sound of it but we looked round it and at first it was just temporary while I was pregnant but we found it amazing" Louis smiled as he kissed his husband.
