Family sickness follows

Chapter 27

Over the next week or so everyone improved slightly. The investigator had found the feeds and PN had been tampered with but they were in the process of working out where and by who. The investigator helped Dr Ross find some bags of fluids from a different company and they were given IV to those that couldn't tolerate anything to eat. Harry and Louis were finally able to be with each other. Harper had improved though was still suffering from bad bouts of constipation and diarrhoea and random bouts of vomiting. Katie was still in pads as she was still incontinent and didn't always feel when she needed to go. Zayn's headaches had improved with the medication.

Mikey was chatting with his parents about how they could get everyone to his first home game with the under 18's in three days time . "We will need to take carrier bags and anti sickness medication with everyone if we go by car. Is it too far from here? Is there any other way we can get there?" Gemma asked. "It is a bit of a walk but I think it may be better to walk there and if people can't manage the distance we can get them wheelchairs" Zayn suggested. Gemma nodded. "I think that may be a good idea even if people protest, or have an empty one in case it's needed." Gemma replied. Mikey smiled glad that his family and close friends can watch him play his first game in the under 18's. "We will get it sorted" Zayn said.

Gemma nodded and messaged her mum and Abbey saying they would like everyone to watch a match at Tottenham in three days time not mentioning why. Anne and Abbey agreed and got to spread the message around everyone else in their group of family and friends. Abbey said she would get hold of wheelchairs and thought how many they needed. Harry had his own wheelchair. She thought Lou wouldn't be happy to have but would get him one anyway. She knew Katie and Harper would need one each. "We need three or four more wheelchairs. Gemma, would Zayn need one?" Abbey messaged back."Yeah, just in case he has a fainting episode." Gemma said. "Just checking. I need one for Louis, Katie and Harper. Have I forgotten anyone?" Abbey said. "I don't think we need more," Gemma said. "I will arrange 4 wheelchairs then" Abbey smiled.

"Abbey is getting us 4 wheelchairs so we can walk to the game" Gemma said. Mikey beamed. "Thanks for sorting it out. I can't wait to see everyone's faces when they see me on the pitch. Uncle Lou will protest going in the chair, though." Mikey beamed. "He will be more invested in the game once he sees you on the pitch and will forget about it." Zayn said. Mikey nodded, "Can one of you film his reaction to seeing me on the pitch" Mikey asked. "As if you need to request it. If not us, then Ni will for sure film it." Zayn said. Gemma nodded at that. "Thanks," Mikey said. Zayn and Gemma smiled telling their son it wasn't a problem.

Harry was having a fairly good day so the family decided to sit in the garden area and enjoy the nice weather. Louis still felt weak and could walk short distances. Of course he pushed himself to go outside with Harry. Jay had supported her son outside. Liam was chatting with his parents and his nana before he went to see Harper. Anne and Robin joined the group later too.

It was a nice day and they were relaxing in the gardens. Niall joined them with Amber. Anne had texted Gemma to see how Katie and Zayn were and if they wanted to join them. Gemma accepted the invitation and the family of four joined them too. They carefully headed outside taking it slow. Katie went over to Amber and the girl's chatted.

Meanwhile, Sienna was in the flat with Harper who was having a very rough day. She had medicine during the night due to constipation but had now given her bad diarrhoea.  Harper groaned and cried in pain as she went in the toilet. The unstoppable diarrhoea making her stomach's muscles hurt badly. Sienna comforted her daughter as best as she could.

Liam made his way into Sienna and Niall' s flat and called out for Harper or Sienna. He walked further inside the flat looking around for them. He couldn't see them so he called Harper's name. The girl groaned, not feeling up to seeing her boyfriend as she had another bout of diarrhoea.  Sienna left the bathroom for a bit and went to see Liam. "Hi Li, Harper's not feeling well today. She's in the bathroom at the moment. Could you maybe come another time when she feels better? She's not up to seeing anyone for the moment. I'm sorry" Sienna said kindly, not wanting to upset the boy.  "Oh, no worries. sorry Harp Isn't feeling well, wish her better for me" Liam said as he left. Sienna thanked Liam before going back into the bathroom.
