Anne decided to pop into the supermarket on her way back to Harry's and Louis place. She picked up ingredients to make a chicken soup, with what Louis and Harry had left from their anniversary dinner, amongst other bits before paying and loading the car up and heading back to Harry's and Louis' place. She walked inside using her door keys when she arrived and went to put everything in place. She then texted Gemma to check on Katie. "Hey Anne, the dr is in with Harry to check on him after yesterday, Lou is asleep in the spare room" Abbey told her, walking out of the spare room and seeing her in the kitchen.

Anne headed into Harry's room to see what Dr Ross said. "Hey Harry, Dr Ross" She said. The dr was about to examine Harry. "Hi mum, Li and Harper got to school ok?" Harry asked. "Yes they did, a little late but with no issues," Anne smiled before letting Dr Ross finish his examination. Harry nodded. "Harry, on normal circumstances I would start you back on G-tube feeds but with this bug going round I'm more thinking of starting TPN back up temporarily." Dr Ross said. Anne and Harry sighed but nodded. "Do what you need to do, Dr Ross. I trust in you" Harry said. Anne smiled at her son. "I will take some bloods now, and order the TPN, we will keep you on the fluids and dioralyte till it is ready which will be early evening is my guess." Dr Ross said. "Thanks," Harry said. "I'm just going to check Louis but shout if you need anything" Dr Ross said. Harry nodded and switched the tv back on. Anne pulled Harry into a hug knowing he was very worried about his husband. Harry also didn't realise how bad Louis had the bug. Harry cuddled with his mum while watching the tv.

While Dr Ross was in with Harry, Abbey kept an eye on Louis who was managing to get some sleep for now. Abbey had a bucket at reach just in case and checked Louis' pad regularly. Louis had used it and Abbey tried to change it without waking him but he was a light sleeper due to being with Harry over the years. "Sorry Lou," Abbey said. Louis just groaned as he didn't feel any better. Dr Ross walked in wearing new gloves and a new face mask. He assessed Louis and prescribed him different medicines through the cannula, hoping they would work and hold up. He noticed the ones he was having were being expelled mixed in the vomit and diarrhoea bouts, leaving Louis weaker and sicker. "Do we need to take Louis to Clover ward?" Abbey asked Dr Ross quietly. "I'm afraid so," Doctor Ross said. He was already thinking of how to tell Harry about it without setting him off.

"I'll break it to Harry and Anne, I think I heard his niece was up there too" Abbey said. Just as they said this Louis violently vomited down his top with no warning. Abbey grabbed a bucket and held it for the man. Louis threw up in the bin and bent over shouting in pain, there was blood in the vomit. Dr Ross waited for Louis to finish throwing up and took his t-shirt off and the bed covers to examine him again, this time having a new possible diagnosis. "Abbey please, ring the hospital and ask for an operation room to be ready, Louis needs an emergency operation, but first call the ward and ask for an echography and ultrasound machines and room to be ready, I need to take an echography and an ultrasound, before anything else, to be sure it is what I'm thinking of." Dr Ross said with urgency in his voice. Abbey ran to do that and to break it to Harry and Anne. She then thought about also telling Liam.

Abbey decided to go and tell Harry first so he didn't overhear about it on the phone. She washed her hands before walking into the other room. "Harry, can we switch the tv off for a minute?" Abey said. Harry switched it off right away. "Is Lou ok?" Harry asked. "Don't panic Haz but Louis is very ill and needs to be taken to Clover ward and have an ultrasound so the dr can see if anything is going on." Abbey said as they heard shouts of pain in the other room. Harry nodded sadly. "Do you need me to bring Liam early?" Anne asked, already getting ready to drive back to Liam's secondary school. "No mum, we'll tell him when he arrives from school." Harry said. Anne stayed. "I've got Haz, you go help Dr Ross with Lou." Anne said.
