Family sickness follows

Chapter 6

I have deleted the last chapter to get ideas for a name as we have now chosen.  Thank you everyone who sent me ideas.

We are calling the block of flats Crystal Lace.

The ward in the block of flats is going to be called Clover ward.

"Li, go and get dressed I'll get grandad up, we can have breakfast here and then drive to the theme park for the morning" Anne told her grandson. Liam nodded. "I'll help you make breakfast. I'm gonna change quickly," He went to change his clothes. Anne went to wake Robin up and the pair got dressed before the three met in the kitchen. "Li, what do you fancy for breakfast?" Anne asks. "Pancakes and bacon. I'll make the pancakes and juice" Liam said and went to pick what he needed from the pantry and fridge. Anne smiled as she switched the kettle on. Robin grabbed the bacon and made that while Liam made the pancakes. They work together between chats and songs and soon have their food ready. They sit to eat after setting the table. Once they finished eating the three of them cleaned up and did their teeth.

Anne, Liam and Robin got in the car and drove to the theme park. During the car ride, Liam tried to distract himself from his worries about his papa by thinking about what to do in the theme park. Robin parks up at the theme park and they show their passes, this is somewhere Liam often comes with his grandparents or dad. They go through and start with one of the tamer rides. The queues aren't too bad. Liam enjoys a few rounds before encouraging himself to try one of the wilder rides by himself. Liam then went on a couple of rides with his grandad. Anne watched the pair. "Can I try one on my own?" Liam asks after the last ride. "Of course, what one?" Robin says. Liam points to one of the biggest rides. The three of them went over and Liam queued up. "Just be careful," Anne said, looking at the ride. Liam nodded and walked to get up the queue.

It was Sunday around 5:30 AM when Amber vomited over herself, her mum and the bed in her sleep. This woke Sienna up who held the bucket as she woke her daughter up who went into full panic mode seeing the sick. Sienna tried to calm the girl and make sure she was finished vomiting first before making any other move to get them and the bed cleaned. Just as the girl finished vomiting she had a diarrhoea explosion. "Shhhh, don't worry, you are poorly." Sienna said. Once she was sure the girl had finished she got Amber to gargle some water to get rid of the taste before taking her to the bathroom and ran a bath for her. She stripped the poorly girl and took her own pjs off, keeping her underwear on, and sat the girl on the toilet just in case.

Once again the girl had a bout of vomit and diarrhoea this time at the same time. Sienna only waited for her daughter to finish before she could safely keep her in the bath to go and clean the bedroom and bathroom floors and change into new clothes. Amber soon had a break and Sienna cleaned her up and placed her poorly daughter in the bath after running it. It was only then that Sienna realised her husband could be ill too. She wasn't sure as she never checked on him the night before. Sienna washed her hands thoroughly, after being in contact with vomit, and cleaned and sanitised the bathroom before she went to do the same in Amber's bedroom. When she finished in both places, she went to get Amber out of the bath, dressed up and back into her now clean bed. Then she went to check on her husband in their bedroom.

Sienna opened the bedroom door and frowned when she saw the bed empty. She sighed as she went into their en-suite bathroom and saw her husband asleep on the bathroom floor. Sienna gently woke up Niall having the bin at reach if needed. Niall woke up with a bit of a startle and, soon after, vomited in the bin. He was also a bit confused when he saw his surroundings. "Ni, you seem to have caught the stomach bug and I'm not sure how long you have been in the bathroom for, sorry sweetheart I was with Amber" Sienna said. Niall just groaned. "Have you just been vomiting? or had diarrhoea too?" Sienna asked. "Only being sick so far and a killer headache" Niall groaned only now notícing how much his head was hurting.
