As your and Larissa's relationship kept growing you started visiting her at Nevermore more often, especially on those days when both of your plans fell apart due to Larissa's work. So your bright and perfect idea was usually to come to say hi to her at work and while she is working both of you can just enjoy each other presence, but oftentimes, Larissa's work and her unread emails got left abandoned on her desk while both of you ended up cuddling or making out on the sofa.
As your appearance was seen at Nevermore more than once, students started to wonder who are you and what is your reasoning behind going to their headmistress's office more than once a week. At first, theories were being spread around the school that maybe you're a new teacher, but as time went on and you never started teaching subjects in the school, the students in Nevermore had to turn to other theories.
At first, you weren't aware that sometimes you became the talk of the school, but Larissa on the other hand was and she had zero intentions to make her students stop thinking so much about her partner. Larissa liked hearing all the possible answers that students put out, and even more than one time she heard a few people talking that maybe you actually were dating Larissa Weems, but these theories quickly died down because it was hard for anyone to believe that their principal could be gay. Larissa hadn't yet informed the school about her sexuality, because as she said, 'Despite how much I consider Neverore a big part of my life it has no business in my personal life.'
Larissa was strict when it came to cutting ties between her work and her personal life, the only moments she allowed for these two things to interfere was when you came to Nevermore and made her office like your home. There were many little trinkets, like your lip balm, earrings, hair clips, and ties in Larissa's desk drawers laying right next to some important documents. And whenever Larissa got too overwhelmed with her work and you weren't there to comfort her, she often times grabbed something from those drawers to fidget with as a coping mechanism.
You found out about your popularity at Nevermore only much later when one day you had been heading up the stairs of the massive school to go say hi to Larissa when you noticed a lot of passing eyes staring at you. At first, you didn't think much about it, but because you were a grown woman standing on the ground of a school where only mostly teenagers were, and you most definitely didn't look like you had a teaching degree either, started eventually wondering what was up with the students. And so to figure out why people were staring at you as if you were some kind of celebrity you continued your path to Larissa's office. There she explained to you how a lot of students had been spreading roomers about you two, which Larissa wasn't about to go debunk and advised you to not either. She said that she didn't want to distract students from their studies with the news of their principal being gay and already involved in a relationship.
Now you were standing in front of the big doors that would lead you into Nevermore. You didn't go straight in because for a minute you needed to prepare yourself for the hundred of eyes gazing upon you. But when you finally got the courage you stepped in. This week had been very busy for Larissa, with the fall break coming up and with Wednesday managing to pull some unbelievable stunts, you and Larissa saw each other almost only now in her office. Every time you went to see her this week she always apologized that she makes you come all the way here to just only get some kisses and cuddles, to which you always replied that it's worth it.
So finally after a while of just standing around in the chilly autumn air, you stepped in immediately feeling a few eyes start to trace your steps. Before you could even see who was looking at you somebody sharply grabbed you and started pulling you deeper into the school. As you finally realized what was happening you saw who was dragging you through the halls of Nevermore, "Marilyn?" Since she had kissed you that one night, you still hadn't talked to her about it, because to be honest, you didn't want to talk about it anyways, you didn't even want to think about it. Your life had been starting to look up for you and everything that reminded you about the not-so-good things, you wanted to leave in the past. But probably due to the quick growth in your popularity at this school, it wasn't surprising that the rumors had reached Thornhill as well, making you an easy target for her to catch.
