It was another regular day at the bookstore when you were already starting to get ready to leave. You loved how at this particular time the sun was at the perfect angle and was shining through the store's windows making the room bright and cozy. It was a good way for you to clock out and go home.

But then you heard someone enter and when you looked a big smile appeared on your face. Now in this bookstore, there was standing this beautiful woman you adored so much. The moment she saw you behind the cash register she started walking toward you already making you get little butterflies in your tummy.

"Good evening Y/n." She greeted you as always, her voice never stopping to impress you. Larissa had the sweetest voice known to a human, it was silvery, always sounded clear, was light, and always pleasant to listen to. Her voice always echoed in your head hours after she spoke. "Hi..." You lightly leaned over the countertop to feel her presence even stronger, "here for the next book?" You were happy to see her but at the same time, you felt crushed because you couldn't deny the possibility that when she bought all of the books you might see her only on special occasions or if not even never.

"No...not exactly." Larissa replied already making you get confused because you didn't know any other reason for her to come here if not those books, "in fact I came here to get back the time we had lost." And this didn't help you to figure out the reason for her to come here. "I...I'm not quite sure if I know what you mean..." You didn't want to seem stupid in front of her so you brushed this moment off with an awkward laugh. "What lost time? This is only the fourth time we meet." You skeptically thought to yourself while desperately searching for the answer on Larissa's face.

"I was holding myself accountable for those times I canceled on you, and thought I should make up for it." And that is when you finally connected the dots and understood what Larissa finally meant. "Oh! Ohhh! So...you...want..." You weren't quite sure of how Larissa wanted to make up for the lost time, you didn't know if she wanted to go on a walk, buy another book, or go to Weathervane and you weren't ready to embarrass yourself in front of her by saying the wrong option. "I was thinking that we perhaps could go on a walk, it is very beautiful weather outside." She quickly gestured to the outside with her long torso before turning back to you. But you weren't looking outside, you were just observing every settled movement Larissa did.

"Umm... sure! We can! I was just about to leave." You didn't need to inform Larissa about your plans on leaving because she ready knew. It was her goal to arrive in time just before you were about to leave.

So quickly you finished up with the few little tasks you needed to do before leaving while Larissa patiently waited for you. She didn't let her eyes go away from you, not once, she was mesmerized by watching you run around the store finishing up little tasks, trying to hurry so she wouldn't have to wait for long. And when finally you had finished everything both of you left for the walk. At first, both of you didn't know what to say, it was dead silent and for you, it was very awkward. You randomly said something to try to stir up the conversation, but Larissa just said something back and you both continued walking in silence.

You both were walking alongside the forest when suddenly you heard a noise. It was a soft sound like rustling leaves, but this noise was coming closer and closer, and immediately your mind went to the worst scenario. You immediately believed that it was the dangerous monster that everyone was talking about, so to feel safer you stepped a little closer to Larissa that your bodies almost were touching. Larissa obviously noticed your inner panic and she herself wasn't the calmest at the moment so she grabbed you and pressed your back against her front to make herself feel safer as well.

At that moment you didn't think about the physical connection you both were sharing, you were just concerned about both of you not seeing another light of day, but just then when you thought that it was the end for both of you, but then out of a bush came a cat. A stray, fluffy, grey cat, and immediately you felt Larissa sigh in relief. "Oh, a kitty." You quickly pulled yourself away from Larissa's grip which was pretty tight and walked up to the kitty. You wanted to pet it because you really liked cats and never missed the opportunity to pet one.
