After coming back from the bathroom, your eyes immediately searched through the crowd to find the tall beauty. It wasn't hard to find her due to her remarkable height. The woman seemed to be having a conversation with the mayor and some other people included, so you weren't about to go and barge in.
Because you were still mad at the woman, you decided to go walk around the great hall and observe the beautiful architecture and design. It was truly mesmerizing, and you couldn't stop looking at everything that was shiny or covered with gold.
As you were passing some groups of people, someone so suddenly pulled you aside frightening you that your heart skipped a beat. You were about to complain to the person who pulled you thinking it was none other than Larissa, but your anger died down when you saw it wasn't her but a person you hadn't seen in a long time.
"Tyler? Fancy seeing you here!" The boy let go of your arm when he saw you recognized him. "Hey, I'm not even going to ask why you are here." He softly chuckled as he knew you were together with Larissa from the times you two bought coffee or hot chocolate together. "Well, can I ask why you are here?" It was nice to finally have a chat with someone else besides Larissa because it seemed like she had become the only person you talked to since Marilyn left.
"I came along with my dad. It is not like I often get to come to these types of events." While he was speaking, you managed to get a good look at him. Tyler was wearing a suit, something you never imagined on him. His hair was neatly done as well and he was wearing aftershave, something you rarely got to smell as you didn't hang out with guys that often. "Well, good for you." "I was expecting you to be spending time together with your partner, not wandering around here alone." Tyler couldn't help not to point out the fact that someone was missing besides you.
"Larissa? Oh, well... I wouldn't say we are fighting, but I am angry with her." You truly didn't want to believe that everything that happened tonight was a fight because no one was screaming. No one was crying, and it just didn't feel like there was a fight. "Why so?" It wasn't a surprise Tayler wanted to know why the two of you had a so-called disagreement because you two always looked like the perfect couple, so you told the boy a quick summary of what happened skipping details no one wanted to hear.
"Oh, if my dad finds out about this, he will immediately try to use his chance." "What do you mean?" You knew who Tyler's father was and were curious to know if he had some regulation about disagreements in couples and if you now had to go to jail for it. "Well... my father, for a very long time, has had a crush on Larissa Weems. And well, when he found out you stole her heart first, he wasn't too happy about it."
"Hmm... interesting, but Larissa is gay and I don't think she likes men." You chucked just by imagining the town's sheriff trying to get his way with your girlfriend. "Tell him that yourself, but I don't think he will listen. He is determined to make her his wife." As Tyler was speaking, you saw his dad, the person both of you were talking about approach you both, so you decided that it would be best if you didn't participate in the next upcoming conversation.
"Your dad is coming in this direction, I think I will better leave before I mention something to him about me and Larissa." You were already backing away, trying your best to keep your face down so the sheriff wouldn't see who was talking to his son. Tyler just nodded in response before turning around to "accidentally" greet his dad.

You were observing one of the many paintings hung on the walls in this great hall. This painting stood out to you the most, so you were ready to give it all the attention it needed. "Huh, they even have the matching blue eyes... interesting." The reason why you were drawn to this exact peace was because the thing portrayed on it was a woman. She had somewhat pale skin, silvery white locks, and eyes as blue as the sea.
