"Y/n, I think we should talk about yesterday." Your smile Immediately washed off your face as you knew the inescapable subject had finally surfaced. "I know..." You quietly replied as you didn't want to back off because maybe today you would finally get your long-desired answers.

For a good second, there was silence between you two because none of you knew how to start talking about this. "So..." You made it more obvious that you didn't know what to say and hoped that Larissa would have finally formed a question that she was ready to spew out. "I think I will start with..." she paused before continuing to speak, but this time in a completely different tone, "What the HELL was Marilyn doing here? And why were you drunk?" Her tone was harsh, and anger was radiating out of her eyes, but she had every right to be mad and demand answers from you.

"She invited me out for drinks...she said it would be fun." "Didn't you text me that you would come to see me at Nevermore?" Now you remember that she most likely had been waiting for you and what you said now definitely didn't help the already catastrophic situation. "I did but..." "BUT what? Is Marilyn now being prioritized and I'm being left second? Is she more fun than me?" Not only does she sound mad but hurt as well which breaks your heart until you remember why you didn't see her last night and went drinking with Thronhill instead.

"No, I'm not prioritizing her, especially after last night, but it seems like Morticia has been better company to you anyway, so why do you care." You replied still not able to imagine Larissa having a better time with her ex than you. "Why would you assume that?" "I saw you yesterday! I was at Nevermore but you were so busy laughing and giggling at Morticia's jokes that I didn't want to disturb your lovely time! And not only that!" You stopped to take in a deep breath not because you were running out of air in your lungs but just to stop yourself from bursting like a water balloon and start crying, "I found your box in your closet! It wasn't intentional. I was taking your sweater and it fell and out of it spilled a lot of things related to her! The pictures, the letters, and that God damn engagement ring."

"You went through my things Y/n!" "Not on purpose! I was just picking the things up to put them back in the box and I just saw the letters and got curious." You defensively replied as you didn't feel like you were in the wrong. Anyone could have gotten curious to find out more about their partner. "Don't tell me you read those letters." You couldn't tell if it was anger or fear in her eyes. "Only one, the one I delivered to you...and clearly you aren't over that woman!" "That box doesn't prove anything." She replied and at this point, you didn't know where this conversation was going.

"It proves everything, Larissa! You don't need a box filled with reminders of your ex hidden in a closet if you are over her! But clearly, you do, especially since you keep collecting her letters even till now." There was no shouting or yelling but you two for sure were arguing, even tho you just wanted this talk to be as peaceful as possible. "I-I..." Larissa was speeches, she didn't know what to say because you were right, but you weren't done talking, you still had some stuff to say, something that was hurting your heart just as much as that box. "Besides...if you were bored and were looking for a relationship just to have fun, you should have told me, maybe I would have agreed...it's not the best feeling to find out you're JUST a fuck toy and nothing more." Finally bringing this up felt nice on the outside but stung deep on the inside as if a poison was running through your blood ready to get to the heart.

"WHAT?" Larissa couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Who said that? Who the hell said that I'm only using you for my own good?" She was filled with rage, not toward you but towards the person who said all those things to you. "M-Morticia..." You stuttered out her name afraid to receive a different reaction from Larissa, defending her and accusing you of lying. But from her facial expression, you could see she got more furious as if she was ready to kill someone. "I should have seen this coming! How can I be so naive to not think about THAT BITCH messing with your head!" She even stood up from the sofa and started pacing around the living room, expressing her anger toward Morticia and toward herself as well, which you didn't like because you didn't like that people talked bad about Larissa, including herself.
