Chapter 63

I have been waiting for the right timing to call the twins about the ring but I really haven't got the time until my meeting was over and fortunately, I got off pretty easily so I still have half an hour to spare and I'm spending it by driving to the shop and pick up my engagement ring. I tried calling the twins but it seems like they're pretty busy at the moment because all of my calls just went straight to voice mail so I just left one instead.

My Uber stops in front of the shop and I immediately paid for it before stepping out of the car. Right, I forgot to mention that Chase and I are still on time out, I know it sucks but Elizabeth really made her point and surprisingly, I understood it clearly so it really doesn't bother me at the moment. But I really miss driving her.

I pulled down my cap in case a floating camera is near by, I don't want a slip up coming from the paparazzi about my proposal. I would literally take things in my own hands and make Alyssa take down an article in a fucking second if that happens.

The moment I walked in the shop, Damien immediately caught my attention and a smile literally form on my lips as I walk up to him and when he saw me a huge smile automatically appeared on his face and says,

"Oh hi Ms. Beveridge, I take it you received our email." I nod and smiled. He gestured me out of the lobby and into the back office and for some reason the knot in my stomach tightens. In about ten minutes, I would get to see it and that thought makes me so excited at the same time terrified.

"Please sit while I go get it." I take a sit on the chair from across the office table and wait anxiously. I try to look around once again trying to distract myself. The familiar boxes of jewelry are still sitting on the display cabinet on the corner of the room. I wonder how expensive are those considering they're here and not out there where customers can see it. Are they for celebrities who goes here to have some privacy and all just like we did when I had the twins with me.

"Alright, here she is." I snap my head to Damien as he approach the table holding a green velvet box with a wooden bottom in his hand and a smile instantly appeared on my lips. I can feel the thumping beat of my heart as he sits down across the table and placed the precious box in front of me with Elizabeth embedded on the top of it, its too fucking beautiful.

I take the box and take a breath before opening it. An emerald ring with diamonds surrounding it comes into view and upon seeing the full of it, all I think about is her.
That emerald green makes me think of the meadows in her eyes and those diamonds that reminds me of her elegance and wait—small jade stones are embedded between diamonds. I just want to cry right now, I fucking love it. I thought there was no way they would've fit some jade in there but here it is. Jade eyes.

"Its so perfect." I whispered not taking my eyes off her.

"I'm sure she'll love it." I look up at Damien who flashes me a sincere smile. "That ring is one of a kind, I fell in love with it the moment I saw it and having a thought of it it really reminds me of the Elizabeth Olsen." My heart skips a beat upon hearing that. It just tells me that I really made the right decision on this ring

"This is her" I say and he smiles. " Thank you so much, this is what I visualized even more to be honest."

"We're honored to provide the best ring for your engagement and congratulations in advance. I'm sure she'll say yes, maybe even without the ring." He winks at me and that made me chuckle. We discussed the payment for it and I paid it full with all the savings that I made for that, I'm glad it was enough considering the amount of it but I really don't care. I have the perfect ring for her. right in my hands

"Ahhh" I pulled my phone out of my ear hearing high pitched screams coming from the twins. I'm currently on a break from my meeting at Zoe's while they make lunch. Jake's with them talking with the editors, he is really improving day by day and I'm proud of his progress really. The twins called so I just had to get away from them for  a while.
