'Fuck..!'

I slowly woke up, unsure if I took a nap or not since it was still dark. I rubbed my eyes and leaned back, angels arms gently sliding off me.

I looked at him to see he was dead asleep.

I looked around, nothing but leaves and branches. I listened carefully to hear the silence of the forest, the occasional natural sounds going off randomly as It eerily bothered me.

I attempted to go back to sleep till I heard voices near by. I froze, listening carefully as I didn't move a muscle.

"C'mon man!" The voice came closer," you've been moody all day and haven't even attacked jane!"

"Will you shut up-"

"I just wanna know whats up!" The other person commented," are things alright, or somethin? You were literally just fine yesterday-"

"Go away lj!" The familiar raspy voice hissed," I wanna just find these kids, kill them, and be done!"

'That voice- my dream, he was in my dream!..what was his name..?'

"Jeff, be alert." The other guy warned," one of them is near by."

I looked around, worried they could see me but I didn't see a soul. Angel had slightly groaned though, quickly I covered his mouth as the footsteps stopped.

Angel definitely woke up, covering his mouth definitely didn't shut him up. I panicked, I heavily panicked as I tried to quickly find something to shut him up.

I uncovered his mouth and kissed him, silence befalling angel as the footsteps continued. Angel kissed me back softly as this almost distracted me.

"Fuck, they're sneaky." The other guy complained," can you hear anything?"

"No, not running or nothing." Jeff answered," they must've heard us, idiot!"

"My bad..!" The other guy complained, distant

Their voices became distant, their footsteps almost mute. I relaxed but the kiss didn't end..

It felt kinda good, angel's lips were a bit dry but mine weren't perfect either.

I pulled away once realizing we were fine but angel held my face in his hands.

"I know it was to shut me up.." He whispered," but they're long gone now.."

I covered my face, embarrassed at him for noticing. He moved my hands from my face as He gave me a small smile.

"Its okay, hey, I didn't mind.." He whispered

His eyes met mine as his expression softened.

"I still don't mind.." He added

My heart started beating loudly within my ears as He leaned towards me, his hands gently cupping my cheeks. I put my hands on the back of his neck and pulled him towards me, kissing him again as I actually liked it.

We parted a bit but he pecked my lips a couple times, kissing a bit longer after the pecks as he hummed satisfied.

We separated as I scooted back, embarrassed at myself for what I just did.

"We need to move, they might come back to search this area.." I whispered

I quietly climbed down and jumped from the lowest branch. Angel soon jumped besides me and we walked the opposite direction of where jeff and the other guy went.
