"What was this 'special operative' like?" I ask not moving from my lying position on my makeshift bed which is in the living room with Sapphire on one side and Jaune on the other side of me.
"Welllll......." Nora drifts off looking dazed, I assume she's replaying the disappointing scene that occurred with this operative
"She was very strict" Ren who is next to her answers
" she was patronising and self obsessed and quite frankly a horrible human" Saph intervenes, trust her to be honest, they all seem very defeated over this encounter and clearly don't believe our visit will be any more successful.
"it's the only gateway to Atlas?" I ask the group as I sit up immersing myself in the conversation fully
"At the moment, yes" Jaune answers my question sighing loudly as he does
"People are afraid of what happened at Beacon so they're running a tight ship so to speak" Ren, he is ever the realist
"Yes but there being naive, they think our enemy's will ask for permission, it's not like we're causing any trouble we're still kids, you know, technically" Saph's hands form fists in frustration
"Regardless of there motives and whether or not they are doing the right thing I do have a last resort, though I know you" I point to Weiss "won't like it" Weiss blinks but her face quickly dawns an expression of understanding
"I suppose" she rolls her eyes, I was right she hates the idea
"What? What am I missing?" Little Rose eyes us both back and forth clearly not able to read between the lines in this instance
"Silvers suggesting that should it come down to it we go with the fact that Weiss is trying to get home after realising the error in her choice and we're just trying to get her there safely" Blondie interprets "but how will that get us all on and to Atlas?"
I smirk
"Your not seriously suggesting we steal an air ship from Atlas military" Blake looks concerned
"That is exactly what I'm suggesting, with everything going on I think that's the least of everyone's worries besides, if I can, some day I'll bring it back" i state factually "so technically were only borrowing it"
"Not again" Blake mumbles
"That's illegal" Little Rose the little saint speaks up a hint of horror in her voice
"Yes it is" I'm under no illusion that it isn't illegal "I'm only stating the fact as a last resort" I try to ease her fear
"An absolute last resort" she agrees
"Exactly, we have to get to Atlas, to General Ironwood, so this is a last resort" i summarise
"We should get some sleep if that's what we have to do it'll be difficult to pull off and I for one don't want to do it feeling exhausted" Blondie concludes falling onto her makeshift bed
"She's right, goodnight everyone" Little Rose wishes and we all lay down.
I close my eyes and I'm out like a light.
