Forever and Always Mine

Chapter 4

Heather’s POV

I finally found him. I never thought that I would and I never thought that it would be him out of all people. I’m so happy I looked up and into his eyes and he looked into my eyes as well. I wonder if he found out to. By the way his eyes looked; I think he realized what we were. His eyes were filled with love and mine were to.

I found my mate. Adrian was my mate. Lookers like I won’t be forever alone like I thought. We stared at each other for a while. I was about to saw something but I was caught off by him putting his lips on mine. I was shocked at first but I kissed him back. We kissed until someone cleared their throat. We stopped and looked at who interrupted our kiss. It was the teacher. I blushed and looked at Adrian to see he had a smirk on his face and he was looking at me. “Your so cute when you blush” Adrian said to me and of course I blushed again. He chuckled at how easy he could make me blush. “Who drew this” the art teacher asked. “Me” Adrian said breaking my gaze. “Adrian, I never knew you had that kind of talent” she said still shocked just like I was when I first saw it. “Thanks, its one of mine hidden talents” he said and he looked over at me and winked at me. I wonder what my hidden talent was. I’m determined to find out, maybe Adrian could help me.

The teacher left, finally. “Can you come over my house to help me take care of the doll since we have to present it tomorrow?” he asked me and I nodded yes. “Sure, as long as that’s all were doing” I said to him with a wink. I walked away and grabbed my things and waited for the bell to ring. When it did I went to my next class which was history with Brooke and Sarah. Sarah was my new friend and we have become really close so I can pretty much tell her anything; it’s the same with Brooke except I’ve known Brooke forever. The three of us were close.

History went by quick and I had lunch with Brooke and Sarah. They were both werewolves so I could tell them about me and Adrian. “Okay so what’s new girls?” Sarah said as we sat down with our food. It was a nice day out so we decided to eat outside at one of the picnic tables. As soon as she said I couldn’t keep myself from having a huge grin on my face. “Lookers like Heather has something to tell us” Brooke said with an I want to know expression. “Son what is it; we would love for you to share” Sarah said raising her eyebrows. “Okay but you have to promise not to freak out” I said still with a smirk on my face. Brooke and Sarah looked at each other and nodded. “We promise” they said in sync. “Okay so guess who I found.” “Who” Sarah said getting impatient, typical her. “You have three guesses, each of you and if you don’t guess right I will tell you” “OBAMA!” Sarah shouted ringing through my ear as soon as I finished my sentence. “No and ow, you don’t have to talk so loud we are all werewolves here” “sorry I just got a bit excited” she said. “I can see that” I said with a chuckle. “Um Bill Gates?” Sarah said I’m not surprised that she’s asking me this she is always trying to be funny and she always is. “No think practical” I said. “Um give me a hint” Brooke said “no” I said back and she frowned. I chuckled at her and she immediately smiled again. “I don’t know we give up” Brooke said. “You didn’t even guess” I said putting my hands up in the air exaggerating what I just said and they laughed at me which made me smile. “Okay so tell us, we need to know” Sarah said. “I found my mate” I said and their mouths dropped open. My eyes were covered by someone’s hands. I gasped and they laughed. “You talking about me?” he asked and I sighed knowing it was Adrian. “Maybe, maybe not I said while his hands left my face. He sat down next to me and put his hand on my leg. “Who’s this?” Sarah asked. “Who do you think” I said a bit sarcastically I swear even though Sarah was a brunette she can act like such a blonde. “OHHHHHHH” Sarah said finally realizing that Adrian was my mate. “What you goin around telling everyone about little old me?” Adrian said. I blushed “no, only them cause there my best friends, duh!” I said a bit too sarcastically and he chuckled at me. He intertwined his fingers with mine and kissed my cheek. “You’re so beautiful” he said making me blush again. “How do you do that; I have never blushed and all of a sudden I blush all of the time when you say something to me” I said getting frustrated that I keep blushing and I have no control over it. “Just special guess” he said “your special alright” I said and he laughed. “Wait, hey that’s not nice” he said finally realizing what I said and I laughed at him. He bent down a bit and kissed me. “AAAWWW!” Sarah said. “You ruined the moment!” Brooke said to Sarah. Me and Adrian both pulled back from the kiss laughing at my friends. “I can’t help it there so cute” Sarah said. “I’m not cute” Adrian said crossing his arms over his chest making me laugh. “You are when you do that” I said crabbing his cheek. “Stop” he said with a chuckle slapping my hand lightly out of the way “Ow you hurt me” I said rubbing my had acting like it really did hurt even though I was just messing with him. “Oh I'm sorry Heather” he said taking my hand and kissing it. “I was just kidding” I said with a chuckle. “I never knew you were that gullible” I said to him with a smirk. “I'm not gullible, I just thought I actually hurt you” he said. “Aw you’re so sweet” I said tapping the side of his face and he gave me a cheeky grin which made me laugh.

The rest of the day went by fast and I went outside to see Adrian leaning against his motorcycle. “There is no way in hell I'm riding that “I said. “If you thing I’m riding that your crazy” I added and he chuckled. He lifted me up and plopped me on the back while he got on the front. “Well I guess that I'm crazy” he said and he sped off out of the parking lot and onto the main road. I tightened my grip around his waist and I knew he could tell cause I felt the vibration of his chuckle.

We arrived at a huge house which I'm guessing was his. When we walked in there was no one else in there. “Is this yours?” I asked amazed by how beautiful it was. “Yup my mom bought it for me after… well it doesn’t matter when, but yah she bought it for me” he said. It looked like there was something wrong but I didn’t want to ask since I know I wouldn’t want anyone to ask about my past either.

“So where’s Saige” I asked him. “In my room” he said back. He took my hand in his and led me to his room. I found the doll lying under the blankets on his bed.  It started to cry and it was so annoying. I picked the doll up and rocked it. I gave it some milk because that’s what the instructions my Biology gave us had said.  “Do you want to stay over?” “I would like to but I don’t have any clothes for tomorrow.” “Come on lets go out shopping” he said while grabbing my had. He led me outside and we left for the mall on his motorcycle.

We got to the store and I was looking around. There were so many things that I liked but I didn’t have any money with me so I sighed and walked out of the store. I turned around to talk to Adrian but he wasn’t there. I sat on the bench outside of the store and saw Adrian walk out holding bags. My mouth dropped open with all of the bags he was holding. “What, wait, why, but” I didn’t know how he had that money on him. He was only seventeen years old. “Nothings too good for my princess” he said with a wink. “Thank you so much!” I said while giving him a hug and a peck on the cheek. “Okay you all set cause I'm starving” he said and I shook my head yes. I took some of the bags in one of my hands so we both had one free hand to hold. We walked to one of the pizza places in the mall. I’ll have a box of pepperoni pizza, a bag of Dorito’s and a coke, oh sorry babe, what do you want?” The women behind the cash register dropped her mouth open but closed it before Adrian looked back at her. “Um I’ll have a slice of Hawaiian pizza, a bad of sour cream and onion chips, and a sprite” I said. “Okay it will be done soon” the lady said and we just nodded our heads and paid.

When we got back to Adrian’s house I plopped on the couch and turned on the TV while he brought my bags into his room. He came back and picked me up then sat down bringing me on top of him. I snuggled my face into his chest as we put a movie on from Netflix. When it was done we went to bed with my back up against his stomach and his arm loosely around my waist.
