Chapter 22

Heather's POV

We finished drawing our project. Now all we have to do is practice the song. We could do that later, I don’t want to sing in front of the class unless I have to. I have always had stage fright but when Adrian is near me, the fear just I don’t know, it just disappears.

“You did an Amazing job drawing our project” Adrian whispered in my ear sending shivers through my body. I looked up at him and smiled. He was so sweet.

“Thank you” I said as I pecked him on the lips.

Adrian took the drawing since I was afraid I would lose it. We waited for the bell to ring. When it did I got up and headed to my next class. Adrian walked me to history. I gave him a kiss goodbye before I entered the class room. I saw Lily looking at me with a deadly look in her eye.

Wow she really doesn’t want Adrian and me together.

Oh well, it sucks to be her because there is nothing that can separate us.

I sat down in my seat and waited for the teacher to start their stupid lecture like he does every class. Ugh I hate history with a passion. I thought to myself as I sat there while taping my fingers on the desk.

I just want school to be over. I just want go home. And most of all I just want to be with Adrian.

I made it look like I was taking notes but I was really just doodling in my note book. I kept drawing the carving that we put in the tree all over my notebook. It made time go by faster because the bell rang. I grabbed my things and went out the door.

Only one more class to go and I can go home. I had Biology with Adrian. YEA! I thought as I walked down the hall to class. I walked in and took my seat. Adrian wasn’t here yet. He’s going to be late, knowing him.

The teacher shut the door and began her lesson. I heard someone trying to open the door. It was Adrian, but the door must be locked since he can’t get in. the teacher walked up to the door and shooed him away. He knocked on the door and the teacher turned around and walked back to the door. She opened it and gave Adrian a look.

I could tell that he was trying so hard to keep back his smirk and not laugh.

“You’re late” she told him.

Well no duh he’s late. I don’t get teachers sometimes. They can just be so annoying.

He nodded his head at her.

“Sorry miss” he told her as he took his seat. When her back turned he rolled his eyes and smirked. I chuckled but only loud enough for Adrian and me to hear.

Soon class ended. Thank god. I don’t know how much more I could take of her sitting at her desk and talking. They should really have another way of teaching. A way to make it more fun and maybe we would actually learn something. Standing or sitting and talking doesn’t do anything. Ugh.

“I’ll meet you at your car” I told Adrian as I gave him a peck on the lips and headed towards my locker.

I opened it and a note fell out. I grabbed my things and the note and went to Adrian’s car. He was leaning against it trying to look tough and let me tell you, he did. He looked intimating but not to me. He was intimating at first but that wore away when I figured out we were mates.

He opened the car door for me after I gave him a kiss. He walked around the car and got in. he started the car and we drove home.

When we were home I put my things down and grabbed the note.
