Forever and Always Mine

Chapter 12

Heather’s POV

They were both vampires. I screamed as they grabbed me. Sarah screamed at the same time as me. ‘Adrian, help me!’ I screamed through our mind link. I got no answer back. I was scared. I couldn’t turn into a wolf in public. A werewolf was much bigger than a normal wolf.

“Don’t scream love” Will (the waiter) said as he covered my mouth. I bit his hand. “Ow you bitch!” he screamed as he slapped me.

Sarah didn’t dare to do anything. Her eyes were wide and I could tell she was in shock. I kept my head down and my hair covered my face. “Look at me” he said and I didn’t do anything. “I said look at me!” he yelled which made me jump. I did as he said and looked at him. His eyes were red with thirst. “Don’t move and I won’t hurt you” he said.

He leaned in and at first I thought he was going to bite me. But he didn’t. His lips touched mine and I was immediately filled with disgust. He held my arms by my side and his body was leaning against mine so I couldn’t move or do anything to stop him. I felt like I was betraying Adrian even though I'm not choosing for him to kiss me. If I could I would rip his throat out right now but I couldn’t.  

He moved down to my neck and started kissing me and I felt something sharp rub against my neck. I heard a scream and immediately knew it was Sarah. Then I felt teeth dig into my skin and I screamed. I wonder why no one heard us yet. My body was getting weak and my vision was getting blurry. I faintly saw Will getting ripped back and all of the pressure he had on my body was gone. I fell to the floor and looked over to Sarah and crawled over to her.

I cuddle next to her and we hold our hands together. Our mates took the two vampires into the bathroom. I slightly heard punches and bodies being thrown to walls. I saw our mates walk out of the bathroom and they picked Sarah and me up.

Adrian looked me in the eyes with so much love. “I love Heather” was the last thing I remember before passing out in Adrian’s arms.

I wake up and see Sarah awake next to me. I have no clue where I am. “Don’t be afraid” I heard a women say. I didn’t think there was anyone else with us. Sarah and me look up and are shocked by who we see. It was the moon goddess.

“Where are we?” I asked. “Don’t worry you are safe. I brought you here for a reason. You are the chosen ones. You and your mates.” She told us; I never doubted the moon goddess but why would she want us. “Why us?” I asked. “You are the chosen ones because the four of you are special. You all have powers that only the chosen ones have. You just need to find your inner self to uncover them” she said. I was so confused with everything. How could we be the chosen ones there were so many questions that I wanted to ask but I'm sure there wasn’t much time.

“Don’t question but embrace your powers. I must go now, I will be your guardian throughout your journey. It will only get worse. You must tell your mates every ting I just told you. Farwell and good luck.”

I wake up feeling droplets of water falling on my face. I flutter my eyes open to see Adrian sitting on the bed with his eyes closed above me. He was holding my hand. I squeezed his hand and his eyes shot open in shock. 

His eyes were red from crying. They were filled with love and joy. “Don’t worry I'm okay” I said with a small smile on my face. His frown turned into a smile. He leaned in and kissed me. As we broke from the kiss I looked over to see Sarah with her mate. They looked so in love, just like Adrian and I.

“I love you too” I said as I peck him on the lips. He looked confused. “What do you mean I didn’t say I love you.” “Before I passed out I did and I never got to say it back” I said as the smile on my face grew larger.

The pack doctor walked in. “Okay, everything is all set. No serious damage was done. Just some bruises and the bite mark on her neck which will heal in a matter of time.” “Thank you doctor, you can leave now” Adrian said as he turned his attention back to me.

I knew I had to tell Adrian about how we are the chosen ones. I don’t think he will believe Sarah and I. they will probably think that our dreams were linked and it was fake. I didn’t even believe the moon goddess at first either.

I sighed as I got ready to tell him. “Adrian I have to tell you something. You have to believe me.” “You can tell me anything” he said. “When I passed out the moon goddess came to me and no it wasn’t just a dream” I said to see if he even believed what I just said. He nodded his head to telling me to continue.

“Sarah was there with me. She told the both of us something.”

“What did she tell you?” he asked me.

“She told us to tell you and Josh and that the four of us have to do it together”

“You don’t have to keep stopping to see if I believe you. I believe every word you are saying” he told me.

“Okay, well we are the chosen ones. We were picked by the moon goddess. Apparently we have special powers that only the chosen ones have. She picked us out of every other wolf, Adrian. I don’t know what are journey will be yet” I told him.

I hadn’t been looking at him because I was scared at what his reaction would be. I had my head down as I fiddled with my thumbs. He put his finger under my chin and lifted my head up so I was looking him in the eyes.

“I believe you, Heather. We will do this together, don’t worry. Whatever the task is we will do it and will succeed together.” He always knew the right thing to say. He could comfort me no matter what the situation was. There was one more thing that I have to tell him that I left out. He leaned in to give me a kiss but I stopped him by talking.

“Adrian, there is one more thing that I have to tell you” I said.

“And what is that?” he asked.

“The worst is yet to come.”

Hope you liked this chapter. there will be a bonus chapter that I will update when I get the chance. it will be Sarah's POV and how she is doing with Josh. Sorry for he grammatical errors.
