Chapter 37

(Sorry this chapter is really short. I wanted to update for you! This story only has 3 chapters left so enjoy!)

I woke up and was in the same position cuddled up with Jade. She was still fast asleep and the movie was still on so I haven’t been asleep for too long. I looked around and listened so I could hear Adrian’s footsteps but all I could hear was the movie. No Adrian. Then I heard the door open and knew it was Adrian. I pretended to be asleep so hopefully he would carry me up because honestly if he doesn’t I'm just going to sleep here for the rest of the night. I'm too lazy to get my fat ass off this couch.

I heard Adrian walk into the room and I could feel him staring at me. but I didn’t move. I heard him sigh then I felt Jade being taken away from me. I reached out my hand but she was too far. So I put my arm back in its original spot and laid there. Then I heard Adrian go upstairs then back down. He stopped when he was in front of me and i was waiting for him to pick me up, but he never did.

“I know you’re awake” he said.

Shit – I thought

“But I’ll be nice and carry you up. I'm sure you had a long day and plus you would just lay here if I didn’t” he said with a little chuckle making me smile a bit – he knows me too well. He picked me up and carried me bridal style. I fluttered my eyes open to look at him. He looked down at me and I gave him a sleepish smile in return.

“Thank you” I said and cuddled into his chest.

“Anything for you, my beautiful mate” he said then kissed the top of my head. I smiled and closed my eyes. As soon as I felt the cozy bed beneath me I fell asleep.

**Halloween Night**

Well this Halloween didn’t turn out how I planned it. Something came up so Adrian couldn’t go out with Jade and I so he said that if he can't go then we can't go. He's way too protective sometimes. so instead we’re all going to a small Halloween party at Dylan’s house. So I didn’t bother to argue. I got Jade all dressed up in her costume and did her hair and makeup for her. She loved it and it made me happy knowing that she's happy. Aftr I finished getting Jade ready I had her come into my room so I could get ready and Adrian wouldn’t see either of us just like Jade wanted. So I locked the bedroom door and got ready. I put on the short dress and accessories. Then I curled my hair and put on my little tiara. I have to say with my makeup and this costume I look pretty good.

We walked out of the room and downstairs where Adrian was all ready to go. He looked down at jaded and smiled. She ran to him and he picked her up giving her a kiss on the cheek. Then he looked at me and it looked as if his eyes were going to bug out of his head. I laughed and continued to walk towards him. He put Jade onto the ground and she ran to go grab a snack. I smirked at his reaction as I put my hand on his chest. He looked down at my hand then back at me looking me in the eyes. His eyes were full of love, passion, and lust. I went on the tips of my toes and kissed him since I've teased him enough by being in this costume. Then we heard Jade’s little footsteps coming closer so we broke apart. We caught our breath and stared into each other’s eyes for a moment. I gave him a quick peck on the lips before returning my attention to Jade who just ran into the room holding a cookie and a juice box.

Soon we left and headed to Dylan’s house for the party. I could tell that Jade was excited. She loves Dylan so we decided to let her call him Uncle Dylan. He loves her too and they have an unbreakable bond. It’s so cute. Jade loves it when Dylan plays with her and chases her around the house or outside. He’ll chase her and she’ll chase him not getting bored of it no matter how long it goes on for.

We arrived at the house and Jade ran ahead of us as soon as I got her out of the car. Dylan greeted her at the door with open arms. She ran to him and they engulfed each other in a hug.

“Hi Uncle Dwlan” she said. She has a little bit of trouble pronouncing words but it’s so cute. He chuckled and gave her a kiss on the cheek before saying hi back.

“Hey there pip squeak” he said making her giggle. He put her down and we walked up to them and walked into the house. There was loud music flowing throughout the house and the large lard. There was food practically everywhere you went. I smiled at Dylan and greeted him with a hg and he returned it. Then we heard a growl from Adrian. We released from the hug. I turned around to look at Adrian and I rolled my eyes at him and hit his shoulder. Then I turned my attention to Jade. We have to keep a close eye on her since this isn’t really a children’s party. There were a couple of other kids running around but not many. I held Jade’s hand in mine and Adrian took her other as we walked through the crowd.

We got something small to eat before we had Jade hang out with her friends. Adrian took his hand in mine and brought me to the dance floor. I turned around and started to sway my hips. He put his hands on my hips as we danced. He brought his lips to my ear and gently pulled on my earlobe making me moan. I turned around and ran my fingers through his hair. He moaned in my ear making me smirk. He too my hand in his and led me upstairs and into a bedroom.

**Don’t do those scenes – sorry**

I woke up to a pounding to my head. I opened my eyes and saw that I was in my own bed. I don’t even remember coming home last night and I have a major hangover. I groaned and laid back down and put the pillow over my head. Then I heard the bedroom door open and footsteps coming my way. Adrian lifted the pillow over my head and threw it to the ground. I groaned and stuffed my face down in the bed making Adrian chuckle. He rolled me over.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of bed and to my feet making me stubble forward into his chest. He chuckled and I blushed then swatted his shoulder and gave him a look. He ignored me and pulled meme downstairs and to the kitchen where breakfast was already made. I smiled at him and pecked his cheek before digging in. when I finished we went out for a day of fun.  

We went shopping and took a walk on the beach then Adrian took me out to dinner. We haven’t had a day like this in a while and it felt nice to spend time with my mate. When we got home we went straight to bed with Adrian’s arms wrapped around my waist like every night.
