Chapter 31

Heather's POV

I woke up in the arms of my mate. I turned moved and twisted so I could see is cute sleeping face. Even though he always pushes that he’s not cute, but I don’t care. I smile at him and give him a peck on the lips. He smiles and a small moaning sound comes from his lips making me smile even more. He opened his eyes and sleepily smiled. I smiled back and he grazed my cheek with his thumb. I looked him in the eyes and he leaned forward and kissed me. It was a romantic and sweet kiss. We pulled back and smirked.

I slipped my hands into his hair and pushed it back a little since he had bed head. He looked hot with messy hair, but he looks hot no matter what. Then I felt a sharp pain shoot through my side. I cringed and groaned in pain.

Adrian’s expression went from calm and happy to worried and scared. He looked like he had no clue what to do and a tint of panic flashed in his eyes. I tried to calm down and thought that the pain would go away if I did, but it didn’t. Adrian took my hand in his and the pain settled down to a tolerable state.

“Thank you” I said and he looked at me.

“For what?” he asked with a bit of confusion, not understanding what I was thanking him for.

“For taking the pain away.” A small smile grew on his face, he was happy that he was able to take the pain away and I was too. I hate those damn vampires. If my wound hurts this much, I wonder how bad it is for Sarah. Her would wasn’t as long as mine, but it was definitely deeper.

“Glad to help” he said then pecked my lips.

“I'm going to go take a shower.” He looked against it but let me go. I know that he is just worried but I will be fine. If I need him I can just call him and he already knows that.

I walked into the bathroom and started up the water so it would heat up. While the water got warmer I brushed my teeth and stripped of my clothes then walked into the shower. I looked down at my wound and it’s already almost healed. Then I saw how the stiches were starting to come out, maybe that’s what sent the pain through my side. I hope that the stiches can be removed soon because I don’t want them in for too long. My wound is already almost fully healed and I don’t think they have to be in for much longer. Maybe I can get them removed today. I will have to ask Adrian to take me to the pack doctor. My broken bone had already healed so I was just waiting on my wound to heal.

I finish washing up and step out of the shower. I dried myself off and threw on the comfy clothes I grabbed before. I walked out and went to find Adrian which wasn’t hard. He was in the living room watching TV, but he didn’t look very interested.

“Hey” I said taking him out of his thoughts. He looked over at me and smiled. He motioned for me to sit next to him, which I gladly did.

“Can you take me to the pack doctor today?” His face expression changed to worry.

“What's wrong?”

“Nothing, I just want to know when I can get these damn stiches out. They’re starting to bother me.”

“Okay, why don’t we go now” he suggested and I agreed. We left the house and drove to the pack house which wasn’t very far. When we got to the pack house, we walked in and were greeted by everyone we saw, weather they said hello or nodded their heads in respect. I thought it was nice of how much they respected their Alpha and Luna. I know they had to, but it’s not like they were faking. We walked upstairs and to the doctor.

“Hello Alpha, Luna, what can I do for you today?” she asked.

“I was wondering if I was able to have my stiches removed today” I told her and she nodded. She had me sit on the edge of one of the hospital beds. She looked at my wound and said that it was healed enough to take the stiches out. So she took them out. We thanked her and left.
