Chapter 16

Heather's POV

When we were inside I was engulfed by another hug. It was from my mother. She kissed me on my cheek and went on about how much she missed me which was funny because I never really saw her in the first place. She was always so busy helping out my dad.

When we let go I found my dad standing behind my mom with his arms crossed over his chest with an emotional expression on his face like always. I walked up to him and hugged him. To my surprise he hugged me back and kissed my forehead. I looked up and smiled at him before going back to my mate who was just awkwardly standing there.

I took his hand and led him into the living room. We all sat down and we started with a normal conversation. Ryan and Adrian were talking while I was talking to my parents. 

“So I'm guessing he’s you’re mate?” my mom asked me while raising her eyebrows and has a smirk on her face. I nodded my head yes as a slight smile appeared on my face as I turned my head to look at Adrian before turning my head back to my parents.

“Care to tell?” she asked me. I knew that she wants to know every little detail about him but I rather not say everything right in front of him. So I told Adrian and Ryan that I would be right back.

Since it was warm outside I took my parents to the back porch.

“Okay well first have you ever heard of the Midnight Moon Pack?” they both nodded their heads yes.

“How couldn’t we? That pack is one of the strongest packs out there” my mother said and I smirked already know what their reaction will be when I tell them about Adrian.

“Well Adrian is their Alpha” I said as the smirk on my face grew larger when I saw their shocked faces.

“How he’s so young?” my father asked.

“Because his father was killed at war, so he had to become Alpha at a young age.”

  “Okay so tell us more” my mom said.

“Well, he is the most caring and loving guy I know. He takes his job as Alpha very seriously and is always makes sure that his pack is safe. He is always there for me when I need him. And as I said before he is the Alpha of the Midnight Moon Pack.” I said with a smirk.
