“I’m so excited, I can’t wait” I squealed and Adrian blocked his ears while cringing. He was able to find us a trainer to teach us how to surf and we are on our way to the beach right now. I'm practically bouncing in my seat with excitement. I've always wanted to know how to surf and I will finally learn how. I don’t think this day could get any better.

“I am too but you need to calm down” Adrian said with a low chuckle.

“I can’t I'm too excited!” I said and giggled. Adrian laughed at me as we arrived at the beach. Then I realized that we don’t even have surf boards.

“What about our surf boards?” I asked him and he smirked. He didn’t say anything. He just turned around and started walking. Okay, then.

“Wait!” I said as I jogged to catch up to him. He sopped and turned his head to look at me. He chuckled and started to walk again when I caught up to him. We walked together to the trainer.

“Is it a he or a she?” I asked Adrian.

“She” he said and I raised my eyebrows at him. 

“What?” he asked.

“Why not a guy?” I asked.

“Because I don’t need a guy drooling over my mate when she’s in a bikini” he said.

“You don’t wear a bikini when you surf, you were those body bathing suit things that scuba divers wear” I told him with a ‘duh’ expression and he just chuckled.

“Your still wearing something tight, I don’t need him staring at your ass or something” he said and I just playfully rolled my eyes.

“Jealous much?” I asked.

“Why don’t you want a girl?” he asked.

“Because I don’t need a slutty human raping you with her eyes. That’s just creepy” I said.

“Or are you jealous?” he asked.

“Nope” I simply and he just chuckled and shook his head.

“Okay whatever you say and by the way she’s a werewolf” he said. It made me feel a little better knowing she was a werewolf and not a human and calmed my wolf a bit. At least a werewolf will be able to tell that we’re mated.

“Wait” Adrian said and I paused and gave him a confused look. He took out a bandana and put it over my eyes blocking my sight.

“Hold my hand” he said.

“I can’t see so how the hell am I doing to know where your hand is” I said then I felt him grab my hand. We started to walk. I could feel the sand in-between my toes since I was wearing flip flops.

“Okay stop” he said as he let go of my hand. He turned me to face a certain direction and took off the blind fold. When I looked I saw two surf boards. One for me and one for Adrian of course.

“You like yours?” he asked.

“Yes, I love it” I said with a big grin. He smiled at my reaction and I gave him a hug and a quick peck on the lips.

My surfboard had a Hawaiian sunset theme on the top. It had the different colors for the sky and had the palm tree on the right. The bottom of the board was baby blue-my favorite color. I didn’t know Adrian had such good taste. Adrian’s surfboard was red on the bottom. The top had a fire theme and was pretty cool. He did a great job picking them out. Maybe I should ask for his advice on things like this more often.

“Where’s the trainer?” I asked Adrian.

“Hey guys” I heard a familiar voice say. I turned around and saw my old friend Kendra. We use to go to school together. We were never that close and never really hung out outside of school.
