Chapter 34

Adrian looked mad but he was taking it better than I was. I started to cry again and Adrian was trying his best to calm me down but nothing was working. I was crying as hard as I was before if not worse. I couldn’t control it and I had no control over my breathing either. My wolf wasn’t happy with the situation either. She was whimpering and wanted out.  I tried my best to control her but it wasn’t easy.

Adrian was holding me close to him again but nothing was helping. Even though I hardly knew Cole, I felt like it was my job to protect him which I miserably failed at. I should have kept a better eye. I should have got up earlier to check in on him. It’s all my fault that they took him. It’s all my fault that all of this is happening.

I'm going to be a terrible mother! He has only been here for one day, if that and he’s already gone and is in danger. I should have known better. I should have known that they would come looking for him and the other vampires since they didn’t return. How could I have been so stupid?

Adrian was looking at me with a worried look and I wish that I could tell him that I was okay but I couldn’t. I couldn’t do anything. All that I could do was cry and blame myself on everything that’s happening.

Adrian left the room for a second and as soon as he walked out of the room I collapsed onto the hard and cold floor. My head started to pound and the crying wasn’t helping. Adrian ran back in the room and ran to my side. Then Sarah and Josh were by my side. I'm not sure how long they’ve been here but I don’t care.

I closed my eyes and concentrated. I took a deep breath and I was finally able to get control of my breathing again. I was still crying but I was able to breathe again. Adrian helped me up from the floor. As I was getting up I saw the note on the ground and clenched my fists. I've had enough of these freaking vampires and it’s time to put this nightmare to an end. I picked up the note and had a tight grip on it. I was outraged. I started to see red from the anger that was building up. I couldn’t take it anymore. I couldn’t hold my wolf back anymore.

So I just let loose.

Those vampires have something coming.

Their worst nightmare

Me

I heard Adrian yelling for me to stop as I ran out of the house. I head him running after me and so was Josh and Sarah but I wasn’t going to stop. I wasn’t sure where I was going so I relied on my wolf senses to find those no good vampires. There all going to be dead.

Including my grandfather.

He's the one who started this problem and I'm going to end it. I heard Adrian’s wolf running after me and trying to mind link me but I blocked him out. I heard a loud howl come from him and he started to catch up to me. He tackled me to the ground ad growled at me warningly. I growled back at him and rolled over so I was on top. I snapped at him then jumped off. Then I started to run again.

He growled at me again and I heard him starting to catch up to me. I didn’t want him to catch me so I used my power of speed to get away. I saw a quick movement in the bush and a familiar smell lingered in the air.

Vampires

Then one jumped out at me from a bush and tackled me to the ground. He had a smirk on his face but I wasn’t smiling. I growled at him and showed my teeth. He pretended to look scared then laughed. I took that as my chance and lunged myself at him tacking him to the ground. He had a look of shock on his face which made me give off a wolfy grin. I bit his neck and threw him into a patch of sunlight that was shining through the trees.

I continued running when I was stopped by a group of six vampires. They were standing in a line in front of me and smirked but I wasn’t going to back down. I growled and used my power of speed to knock a few of them down, and then I returned to my original spot. They all looked at me with shock and I grinned evilly and let out a vicious growl showing my sharp teeth.
