Chapter 18

Heather's POV

When I woke up it was morning. Wow I have never slept this long. I went to bed in the afternoon yesterday. I thought I was only taking a nap, but I guess I never woke up. The training must have drained a lot out of me. I looked over to Adrian and realized h wasn’t there. He was probably downstairs already. I look on his nightstand and saw a note.

Maybe he wasn’t downstairs. I thought to myself.

I reached over and grabbed the note as I read it.

Went out to do rounds around the pack. I have some things that I have to do today so I'm not sure when I will be home. If you need anything just mind link me. Don’t wait on me to do the training. You can show me once I get home. I love you and will be home as soon as I can.

He is so sweet. I thought to myself as I walked out of the bedroom and downstairs. I made myself some breakfast and plopped down on the couch. Today is going to be a long day without Adrian. I already miss him. I hope he doesn’t come home too late.

Maybe I can ask the moon goddess to see if Josh and Sarah could train with me today. I really don’t want to do it alone and I hate being left alone all day. No one was really ever around when I lived with my family. My parents would both be doing their Alpha duties and my brother would always go out for a run or hang out with his friends. I was always home with nothing to do unless Brooke came over.

I sighed as I mind linked the moon goddess. I hope she responds.

‘Can Sarah and Josh train with me today, Adrian can’t make it’ I asked her. She probably already knew that Adrian wasn’t going to be with me today but oh well.

‘Yes, it is time for them to start their training. They won’t have as many powers as you and won’t be as strong but they certainly have to train’ she told me. I nodded mentally to her as I called Sarah. She better pick up the phone.

“Hello?” Sarah groggily answered. I could tell that I just woke her up but I didn’t care. It’s late anyways. She always slept in and hated it when someone woke her up early.

“Hey, guess what.”
