"Did it ever cross your mind what would happen if we weren't paired up together?" Soojin asked as she layed next to Donghyuck on her bed, her head rested on his chest as her hand layed comfortably on his abdomen.
The two of them often had sleepivers at each other dorms. Sometimes Soojin would come over at his dorm and hang out. The two of them loved spending time together and simply having the extra company was great.
"I mean I really don't know, looking back though, I'm awfully greatful for it. I would be miserable without you." He spoke, a pout forming on his lips as he looked down at her.
"I think it's really fate, and luck...I was lucky I met you, and lucky you didn't beat the shit out of me on our first meeting." He snickered.
Soojin looked up at him in disbelief, immidiately slapping him on the arm as he cried out in pain.
"How dare you say that? It's not my fault you were so slow at understanding things!" She retorted, arms crossed across her chest as Donghyuck layed beside her in pain.
"Jeez babe I was just joking, you know I'm I would've stuck with it either way." He replied.
"Yeah?"
"Of course."
"Why?"
"Because I liked you since. And I figured being partners was the only way I could talk to you without getting beat up." He laughed.
Soojin's eyes softened as she looked at him. She leaned in closer, hands clasping his cheek. "I'm glad you stuck with me." She smiled.
Donghyuck smiled back, nodding his head as he looked towards her. "You've always been a keeper, babe. Even though you almost broke my ears and injured my pretty face." He said, his tone going low.
Soojin chuckled at his reaction. "It's weird how time flies by so fast." She commented, reminiscing the past few months.
"You know it was scary but I'm glad it happened." He spoke honestly, glancing down at the girl and his nose scrunching up when he saw her smilling up at him stupidly.
"When I first saw you, I never thought the two of us would end up together- I mean I liked you and such but, it seemed impossible that you would like me back." He confessed. "I never thought we would end up like this."
Hearing this, Soojin sat up, leaning on her forarm she looked up at him with glistening eyes.
Soojin gently brushed the stray pieces of hair from his eyes, habitually brushing his hair up as he watched her in silence.
"Do you think everything will be okay?" He watched her as she raised her eyebrows. "What do you mean hyuck?" She asked gently.
"Well I just can't help but think about what would happen afterwards, I mean I'm so happy, very happy and content with my life right now that I'm scared things won't turn out the same way in the future." He spoke.
"Hyuck, nothing bad will happen my love." She spoke softly, her lips pressing a chaste kiss on his forhead. "I promise."
Donghyuck nodded with his big iridescent eyes, shining with adoration and love, his heart beating fast as it always did when she was around.
She was the only person who made him feel that way. It beated ferociously, that he thought she would hear it too.
"You really are amazing." He said in a loving tone as he gazed at her. "You're even more amazing, Hyuck." She responded.
The two of them shared loving smiles as they faced each other. Both blushing at the closeness that existed. Soojin's hand rested on his chest, eventually leaning in to press their lips together.
Their relationship was as perfect as they could have even imagined, the feeling of love just blooming from their hearts and mind everytime they see each other.
Just the thought of him on her mind and her on his made their heart beat a thousand miles faster. Nothing could ever beat the comfort between them, the closeness, the warmth- together they brought out the best in each other.
He kissed her back slowly, hands interwining at the back of her waist as he pulled her closer to him. It was a kiss full of love and admiration, respect and passion. His hand eventually found the curve on her jaw as he held her face lovingly, her hands behind his neck.
A wave of happines took over them seamlessely, the intoxicating moment both leaving them with racing heart beats and flushed cheeks.
Soojin couldn't help but keep her emotions at rest, a smile forming on her lips as a few giggles escaped her mouth. Donghyuck smiled into the kiss without breaking it, his hands still clinging onto her frame.
Both were left with swollen lips and flushed cheeks, erratic heart beats and the messiness that was utterly beautiful.
The moment between them was light yet passionate, as two young adults untterly in love, kissed under the brilliant moonlight.
