Nicco laid in bed staring up at his ceiling as Virginia played with his hair. "Doesn't it seem weird to you that Ginevra and Vitto are dating?" He asked.

"Maybe a little bit," Virginia said, "I mean she is a slut. I never though she'd settle down." Nicco gave the girl a look as he sat up pulling on his jeans. "You don't even try and hide the fact that you like her."

"You don't know what you're talking about Virginia," Nicco said.

"I should have done more than push her in the pool that day," Virginia said.

"Why didn't you?" Nicco asked.

"Honestly because I though you'd lose interest in her," Virginia said, "Our relationship after six years is stronger than just some one night stand." Nicco ignored the girl as he put on a jacket. "Beside you alway do this. You run off and then come right back. Just like a little puppy."

"No, not this time. This time it's different," Nicco said walking out of his room.

Nicco soon found himself waiting for someone to answer the door he'd just knocked on. It was stupid of him to come here, he knew that. She might not even speak to him, but he needed to try.

"Niccolo?" Alessio said as he opened the door.

"Mr.Ricci," Nicco said. The man looked a lot healthier then the last time he'd seen him. He had put on a healthy amount of weight and the color had come back to his skin, "Um is Ginevra home?"

"She's in her room," Alessio said, "Would you like to come in?"

"Thank you," Nicco said as he stepped inside the house.

"I was just getting ready to leave to go get groceries," Alessio said grabbing his car keys, "Like I said Ginevra's back in her room. You can go on back."

"Thank you," Nicco nodded as he turned back toward the hallway.

"Niccolo," Alessio said stopping the boy, "I never got to say thank you for taking care of her that day. If—if it hadn't been for you I don't think I would have ever remembered what happened. Because of you, and the look in her eyes that day, I decided to go and get help. So thank you, thank you for taking care of my girl and protecting her."

"I'll always protect her," Nicco spoke. Alessio pressed his lips into a tight smile and he nodded his head at the boy. He turned walking out the door leaving Nicco standing in the living room by himself.

Wasting no time Nicco walked back toward Ginevra's bedroom. He stopped at the door, soft music played from her room. He smiled when he heard her singing softly to herself behind the closed door. He lifted up his hand knocking lightly. "Come in," Ginevra called.

He took a deep breath before pushing the door open. The look on her face seems caught off guard to see him. "Nicco? What are you doing here?" Ginevra asked.

"I'm I-I don't really know," Nicco admitted.

"Okay..." Ginevra said standing up from her bed. Nicco took a few steps into the room making sure to keep some distance between them.

"Virginia and I broke up," Nicco said. Ginevra was slightly taken back by his words but not fully surprised.

"For how long this time?" Ginevra asked. It wasn't unusual for the two to breakup and get back together.

"For good this time," Nicco said, "I'm done with her." Ginevra eyed him up and down to see if he was telling the truth.

"I'm sorry," Ginevra said, "How are you?"

"I'm fine," Nicco said.

"That's good," Ginevra said, "So why exactly did you come all the way here to tell me that?"
