Ginevra felt Nicco stir in the bed beside her. He had laid his hand across her exposed stomach, pulling her closer. "Good morning," Nicco whispered as he kissed her on the cheek.

"Good morning," Ginevra giggled as she blocked her eyes from the sun with her arm.

"My parents are going to be back later this afternoon," Nicco reminded. Ginevra instantly felt her good mood start to slip away. She and Nicco just slept together for the first time since the whole blow-up with Cami, and she was beyond happy about it. Now, she'd have to leave and go back home, not knowing what she was going to be greeted with.

"I don't want to leave this bed," Ginevra said rolling so that her face was nuzzled in Nicco's neck.

"Well I mean you could stay here," Nicco said, "But you'd have to explain to my parents why you're here...naked in my bed." Ginevra's eyes shot open at the thought.

"All right. I'm getting up," Ginevra tried to pull away from Nicco but he pulled her body back into his.

"Uh-uh," Nicco said rolling so that he was on top of her, "I said they wouldn't be here until this afternoon. We have time."

"Nicco," Ginevra whined.

"Ginevra," Nicco mocked as he left kisses down her face and onto her neck. He stopped, hovering his lips over her sweet spot. Ginevra waited in anticipation, not sure if he was just messing with her. Nicco leaned forward placing his lips right above her collarbone. Ginevra gasped as pleasure shot through her body. Nicco lifted his head looking in the girl's eye with a smirk.

"Fine. But you have to make me breakfast after," Ginevra said.

"Deal," Nicco said before connecting their lips.

Ginevra was walking on the sidewalk almost to her house when her phone started to ring. She rolled her eyes as a laugh escaped her lips when she saw Nicco's contact.

"Nicco. I literally just left. What do you need already?" Ginevra asked.

"I can't just want to hear your voice?" Nicco said.

"You just heard it less than five minutes ago," Ginevra said, "I'm not even home yet."

"Okay, okay," Nicco said, "I just wanted to make sure you go home safely. I worry about you."

"Well I'm walking into the house now," Ginevra said. She called out to her father, not getting a response back. "My dads not even here right now. He's probably at work."

"I don't know how he holds a job when he's drunk or high all the time," Nicco said. Over the week she'd spent with him she had told him about everything. Every time her dad came home drunk or high, every time he'd yelled at her over stupid stuff, every time she'd cried herself to sleep at night just wishing for her mother.

"I told you already," Ginevra said, "He only does his heavy drinking at night. Usually, during the day he's a normal-ish person."

"I still don't like that you're in the house alone with him," Nicco said. Ginevra sighed as she looked out into her childhood home. She hadn't moved from the front door since she entered. She didn't know if it was fear or what was stopping her. But this is how she lived, so she'd just have to deal with it.

"I'll be fine," Ginevra said closing the front door and taking a step farther into the house, "I can typically handle him."

"Just promise me you'll call if anything happens," Nicco said.
