Ginevra walked through the school halls. Her nerves grew more and more the closer she got to where she usually met Vitto. "Can I talk to you?" Ginevra asked.

"Yeah," Vitto said noticing the expression on his girlfriend's face. Vitto followed her silently through the halls. Ginevra pushed open the door checking to make sure no one else was around. She knew that school probably wasn't the best place to do this but the guilt was eating her alive. "What's wrong?"

"I have to tell you something," Ginevra said, "I need you to promise that you're not gonna interrupt me until I'm finished."

"Okay," Vitto said.

"Promise," Ginevra said turning to face him.

"I promise," Vitto said grabbing her hand, "You're scaring me. What's wrong?"

"The other day when I told you I was sick and couldn't go out I lied," Ginevra said. Vitto's brows furrowed in confusion. He wasn't sure why she seemed to be so upset about something that wasn't a big deal. "Nicco had come over right before you text me. At first, he was just telling me how he and Virginia broke up. Then...then he started telling me how much he loved me and..."

"Did he kiss you?" Vitto asked angrily.

"No," Ginevra said, "Not that night."

"What do you mean not that night?" Vitto asked.

"The other night I went to his house to ask him something," Ginevra said, "He told me that we needed to talk about what had happened. I told him that I didn't want to talk, I was dating you and I was happy."

"Ginevra. Did he kiss you?" Vitto asked.

"All I had to do was tell him that I didn't love him. He said if I did then he'd leave me alone," Ginevra cried, "But I couldn't. I don't know why but I couldn't tell him that. He told me maybe this would change my mind. I looked up at him confused but before I could ask what he was talking about he kissed me."

Vitto took a step back from the girl, "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I don't know. I was just trying to collect my thoughts," Ginevra said, "I didn't want you to be mad at me."

"Did you kiss him back?" Vitto asked.

"At first," Ginevra started.

"Unfuckingbelievable!" Vitto yelled.

"Vitto please," Ginevra said.

"No! You can't just tell him that Nicco kissed you and that you kissed back and expect me to take that well," Vitto said.

"As soon as I realized what was happening I pulled away," Ginevra said.

"It doesn't matter. You still kissed him!" Vitto yelled.

"Please stop yelling," Ginevra said.

"I can't do this right now," Vitto said.

"Vitto please don't do this," Ginevra begged, "I don't want to lose you."

"Maybe you should have thought about that before kissing the guy you conveniently told me you didn't care about anymore," Vitto said as he walked back inside the school leaving Ginevra there crying.

Vitto stormed through the halls seeing red. He should have seen this coming. It was stupid of him to think that whatever was going on between Ginevra and Nicco was over. I mean the two had slept together while Nicco and Virginia were together. Why should their being in a relationship stop them from kissing?

His eyes landed on the person he'd been looking for. The person who'd caused the pain in his heart. Without even thinking Vitto threw a punch lading straight on Nicco's cheek. "Dude!" Carlo yelled trying to grab his friend's arm.

"What the fuck, man!" Nicco yelled holding his face.

"You think you can just fucking kiss my girlfriend and get away with it Rossi?!" Vitto yelled fighting against Carlo. Since Carlo was shocked by the news his grip on Vitto loosened. The boy ripped from his grasp tackling Nicco to the ground.

"You're a fucking jackass!" Vitto yelled sending another punch to his face. Carlo and Brando both grabbed ahold of Vitto pulling him off the boy. "You fucking stay away from her!"

"You don't deserve her," Nicco said making Vitto even angrier.

"Oh, but you fucking do?" Vitto asked.

Ginevra had tried to call Vitto multiple times but he wasn't answering. She couldn't blame him though. If she were in his shoes she would be pissed beyond belief.

In the past few hours, she'd done a lot of thinking and reflecting on her feelings. Of course, she liked Vitto. How could she not? He was kind to her, always made sure she had what she needed, and he wasn't bad to look at either.

Then there was also Nicco. Sure the 'relationship' they had got off to a rough start. Hell, she wouldn't even consider it a relationship. But he had been there for her during one of the roughest times in her life. She'd been stupid and pushed him away but he was still there.

When he told her he love her she thought he was crazy. But the more she thought about it the less crazy it sounded. Sure they were young, sure the relationship was a little rocky right now. Through everything he was still there, a constant in her life. No matter how many times she'd tried to push him away, he just kept coming back.

Ginevra sat up in bed at her realization. She still wanted to fix things with Vitto. Maybe they could still be friends like before. But she needed to talk to Nicco. She needed to tell him that she love him too.

Ginevra slipped on her shoes and ran all the way to the Rossi house. She was out of breath by the time she got there but she didn't care. Nicco opened the door, black and blue bruises covered his left eye. She heard that Vitto had hit him but she hadn't seen him all day. "Your face," Ginevra said taking a step closer to the boy.

"It's fine," Nicco said. He flinched slightly as her fingers grazed over the bruise. "What are you doing here?"

"I've been thinking a lot about what you said," Ginevra said, "I just wanted to tell you that I love you. Like you, I think I always have. I was just scared that you'd go back to Virginia and I wasn't completely sure about my own feelings. But if you say you're done with her then I'm ready to try and make this work."

"I can't," Nicco said, tears in his eyes.

"What?" Ginevra asked.

"I can't be in a relationship with you," Nicco said. Ginevra felt her heartbreak. What was happening?

"If it's because of what happened with Vitto I'm sorry," Ginevra said, "I didn't know he was going to attack you like that."

"No. It's not that," Nicco said.

"What is it then?" Ginevra asked. Nicco sighed. She watched as he hesitated. Whatever he was getting ready to tell her wasn't going to be good.
