"Have you spoken to Ginevra?" Nicco asked Cami.
"No," Cami said, "I don't think she really likes me now anyway."
"Just keep trying. She'll come around eventually," Nicco said, "She really needs a friend right now anyway."
"And what would you know about that?" Cami asked.
"I just know," Nicco said.
"You need to stop thinking about Ginevra," Cami said, "Virginia needs you now." Nicco scoffed as he took a drink out of his bottle. Cami stared up at her brother. "Are you okay?"
"No. I'm not," Nicco said, "I love her."
"Well I would hope because you're going to have a baby with her," Cami said.
"Not Virginia," Nicco said. Cami's eyes widened as she looked at her brother. She thought maybe he liked the Ginevra but she had no idea he loved her.
"Hey," Cami said grabbing the side of his face and wiping a tear that ran down his cheek, "I'm here all right?" She pulled her brother into a hug.
"Can you just please make sure she's all right?" Nicco whispered.
"Of course," Cami assured.

"Hey," Cami said sitting down beside Ginevra. The girl had a free period and the weather outside was nice so she'd been sitting here taking it in.
"Hey," Ginevra said. She hadn't really talked much to Cami since she got back from America. After she got mad that Ginevra had slept with Nicco, their friendship hadn't really been the same.
"How are you?" Cami asked.
"I'm good," Ginevra said, "I'm just waiting for Vitto."
"Are you two still together?" Cami asked.
"Umm no," Ginevra said, "We decided that it was best to be friends."
"I'm sorry to hear that," Cami said, "You two were cute together."
"It's all right," Ginevra said, "He's a good friend." Awkward silence fell over the two. Ginevra couldn't help but wonder why Cami was trying to talk to her now.
"Look," Cami said, "Nicco told me about everything." Ginevra sighed not really wanting to get into it. "Now, are you all right?"
"Cami I appreciate it but I'm fine," Ginevra said, "Seriously."
"I'm here if you need me," Cami said to the girl.
"I said I'm fine," Ginevra said, "I just need to keep my distance."
"Nicco isn't doing too good," Cami said.
"And what do you expect me to do about that?" Ginevra asked.
"Talk to him," Cami said.
"I can't do that," Ginevra said, "I have to put my feelings first right now."
"Maybe if you just talked to him," Cami said.
"No!" Ginevra said, "I love him. I can't watch him be with someone else. It's too hard. He's with Virginia now."
"Ginevra," Cami said.
"Stop," Ginevra said, "Please just stop."
"Everything all right?" Vitto asked walking up to the two girls.
"Everything's fine," Ginevra said wiping away a tear on her cheek, "You ready to go?"
"Yeah," Vitto said looking at Cami. Ginevra took his hand as they started to walk away.
"Just think about it," Cami called out. Ginevra stopped for a second before continuing to walk away.
"What's she talking about?" Vitto asked.
"She wants me to talk to Nicco," Ginevra said.
"Why would Cami care about that?" Vitto asked.
"She said Nicco told her everything," Ginevra said.
"Well that means he wants to talk to you then," Vitto said.
"I already know he wants to talk to me," Ginevra said, "I'm the one who doesn't want to talk to him."
"Why not?" Vitto asked.
"We've been over this," Ginevra said, "It's too hard."
"It's too hard or you're giving up?" Vitto asked.
"What are you talking about?" Ginevra asked.
"You love Nicco, right?" Vitto asked. Ginevra nodded her head not sure where he was going with this. "Well, I don't think you're ignoring him because it's too hard. You're ignoring him because you're giving up."
"I have to give up," Ginevra said, "He's with Virginia now."
"Why? Because they're having a baby?" Vitto asked, "Those two have always been horrible for one another. Just because they're having a baby doesn't mean the relationship is going to last."
"I'm not going to ruin their relationship again," Ginevra said.
"I'm not saying you have to," Vitto said, "I'm just saying you shouldn't give up on the possibility that you and Nicco could end up together. You never know what could happen in the future."
"And what if nothing ever happens in the future?" Ginevra asked, "What if he and Virginia stay together forever."
"Then I guess you'll just be stuck with me," Vitto said throwing his arm around his friend and pulling her closer. Ginevra couldn't help but laugh.
"Maybe that wouldn't be so bad," Ginevra said laying her head on his shoulder, "We should make a deal."
"What kind of deal?" Vitto asked.
"If we both aren't in a committed relationship or married by 30, we marry each other," Ginevra said.
"Who says I want to be married by 30?" Vitto asked.
"Oh come on. I at least want a few kids so I need time," Ginevra said.
"You want to have kids with me?" Vitto asked.
"Only if I haven't met anyone by 30," Ginevra said.
"Oh gee that makes me feel so good about myself," Vitto said.
"You know what I mean," Ginevra said.
"Fine," Vitto agreed, "I'll marry you at 30 if neither of us are in a committed relationship or married."
"It's a deal," Ginevra said holding out her hand. Vitto reached out shaking it.
"At least I already know the sex will be good," Vitto said making Ginevra blush slightly. The girl lightly shoved him making him laugh. "What? You're telling me I wasn't good in bed?"
"I didn't say that," Ginevra said.
"Best you've ever had?" Vitto asked.
"I didn't say that either," Ginevra said. Vitto scoffed as he grabbed his chest like he was hurt.
"I'm not the best you've ever had?" Vitto asked.
"Oh my gosh, can we not talk about this right now?" Ginevra asked, "I gotta get to class."
"I'll remember that in the future!" Vitto yelled after her in the hallways. Ginevra just laughed as she flipped him off. "Yeah, love you too babe!"
Ugh, I love their friendship honestly 😩😩
Vitto is the BEST
