when you get lost in the pyrefly forest

Inspo: started thinking about replaying omori for the Hikikomori route and that sort of caused a chain reaction

Prompt: you get lost in the pyrefly forest (because let's be fr, that shit is like a maze) and there's how the characters would react! Mari comes along on the adventure as well

Omori:

-Doesn't notice at first tbh

-Only noticed when there was no whining when they came across a spider

-Couldn't care less

-Didn't even try to go back for you, and he was really hoping you find your own way back

Basil

-Notices straight away, mainly because he always looks at you

-He started to panic and think of the worst things happening to you

-Mari had to calm him down and assure Basil nothing would happen

-That made Basil feel a lot better

-Omori didn't say anything but it was obvious he didn't want to go back for you, but Basil forced him to anyway

-They found you sitting on a tree stump having a tea party with a sprout mole!

Kel

-Took a while to notice but not too long

-He was walking in front of everyone

-Didn't pay much attention to you but not in a mean way, probably just because he was more focused on the atmosphere of the forest

-After walking for a while he got tired and sat against a rock and that's when he realised you weren't anywhere

-"OH SHIT WE LOST Y/N!"

-Ran back into the forest and used his Kel-senses to find you

-Put you over his shoulder and ran back to the others

Hero

-Actually, you didn't get lost mainly because Hero was holding your hand the entire time and talking with you about random things

-Henry (lmfao sorry) knew something like that would probably happen so he prepared for it, good on him!

-HYPOTHETICALLY, if you were to get lost he would convince the group to go back but it would take ages to find you because you were specifically hiding from Hero

Aubrey

-Pretends she doesn't care

-She would say stuff like "their fault for not following us" while scoffing

-But on the inside she was a bit scared for you because if anything were to attack she couldn't protect you!

-Couldn't let anyone know she was actually worried deep down.

-Omori just shrugged her off as being her usual self and kept walking

-"Guys we can't just leave them! I mean I don't care but still they can be useful sometimes"

-Omori gave her a "wtf" look and just kept walking.

-She swore she would apologise when she found you but she forgot

Mari

-ALSO took her a while as she was talking to Basil about his photo album

-Complimenting all the pictures that were inside and reminiscing about the memories that the photos hold

-She enjoyed talking about the past with her friends who made it just that much better

-"Y/N! Remember the time we--- Y/N?"

-She looked around and seemed a bit confused that you weren't there.

-She decided to just keep going forward with the rest

-Once they all were at sweetheart's castle, they found you in the garden staring off into the distance while sitting at a pretty pink table drinking tea.

-Mari wondered what you were looking at, because it seemed to her like you were facing in the direction of some thorny bushes with just a black void behind them.

-Mari always found you..interesting so she didn't question you being interesting again now

-Afterwards you all had a big picnic and had tons of fun!

-Hero told you about sweetheart, it made you laugh
