Akshara wakes up with an ear splitting headache, it's been a two weeks since she's found out about he diagnosis, and knew that this could be a side effect but once she opens her eyes she realizes it's from the loud noises coming from downstairs. She props up her elbows and glances to her left to find Abhir missing, causing her heart to jump but as she sees his sprawn out towel and the sound of the shower running, she realizes he's just showering. Anyone would be proud and happy but Akshara knew her abhir to well, and he mostly did it when he was forced to by her. So why was he getting ready in the morning? He didn't even have school today.

"Betu" She knocks on the door, once she leaves the warm comforters. The door slightly sways open and she makes her way in, to see abhir struggling while his kurta was stuck on his head. "Abhir!"

She rushes to him and helps him out, and after she tugs on it effectively his wide smile is displayed on his face, "Good morning mumma!"

The confusion on her face seems to be permenant as she still couldn't understand what was going on, "Why are you wearing a kurta, what's going on?"

"Mimi planned a pooja in the house, she felt that everyone needed a bit of good luck since there was so much change in everyone's lives" Abhir explains, Akshara frowns as she hears this worried that her family had found out about her condition.

"It's just for good luck?" She asks unsure.

"Yup, They've even invited docman, dida, roohi and aarohi maussi!" Abhir says seeming excited at this new prospect. "Also mumma you should wear something yellow too, then we can match!"

She just nods and scratches his head affectionately causing him to move away from her grasp with a pout on his face, causing her to crack a smile. She sends him downstairs to eat breakfast, before deciding to get ready herself.

As she promised to Abhir, she dresses up in a elegant mustard yellow anarkali with a netted duppata adorned with multicolored designs. She braids the first two strands of her hair and pins them back, before taking a step away from the dresser to take her appearance in. At the moment she was satisfied with how she looked, she definitely looked different to how she dressed herself for the past six years but similar to her true self. Yet she couldn't help but wonder, how she would look as the days grew, she knew that the tumors took a toll on physical appearances at times.

Shaking her head free of any of these dire thoughts, she was excited to give abhir more memories and a family gathering such as today was bound of oppurtunities, plus maybe the pooja would bring her some luck as well.

As she descended the stairs, she was paid multiple compliments by her family members and normally she would have been delighted but due to the situation she was in with the divorce, she didn't think that they would be eager to pay her compliments which caused her to worry.

She doesn't say anything, but silently prays that they don't know anything about her medical condition. She had tried hiding it as best as she could and she did think she had done a decent job but then again with her family she never knew.

"Akshu, we're sorry" Bade papa starts with nods from both bade mumma and mimi. "We should have supported you in this decision, it is your life after all. We just got worried, since Abhinav has been good and we were scared that you were throwing away good things in your life but we see how the marriage was a lie and how it might have even been uncomfortable at times. And we don't want to ever force you into anything like that"

Akshara tries to hold her emotions back, this is what she needed, true support from the people she loved and who understood her. She says with a genuine smile,  "i love you"
