Akshara lets out a sound of glee as she twirls around in the rain, the square piece of land in the centre of one of their living rooms pooled with water. Her anklets clink against the pavement creating a melodious tune in sync with her light laughter. Her hair is damp and she feels some stick to the side of her face, but she couldn't care less fully immersed in the rain.

He treads in quietly, not wanting to draw any attention towards himself. He's holding a box, his hands slightly shake when he recalls what's hidden away, as certain memories seem to taint his already love sick mind. He follows the sound of her anklets and her alluring scent pulls him towards her direction. He's rendered speechless when he sees her, looking angelic as ever, twirling around in a white ghagra choli. At times like these he couldn't figure out, if she was real or not, everything about her was too good to be true.

Clearing his mind, he calls out her name his voice holding a tone for strictness, "Akshara"

She doesn't notice and he's forced to step out in the rain with her, she doesn't sense the direction she's twirling in and soon enough bumps in his hard chest. When she looks up to meet his eyes, she sees a certain fondness - one she hadn't seen before. He reaches out, and this time unlike all the times before when he had to hold himself back, he actually tucks the damp strands of hair behind her ear. She feels rather dizzy as she locks eyes with him and it's not because of her twirling.

"Maine kitne baar bola, you shouldn't go dancing in the rain especially twirling around like that" He says, his words are harsh but he delivers them in a gentle tone. "You'll fall sick"

"aur maine kitne baar bola ki mujhe acha lagta hai" She whines rather childishly, displaying a pout. "lekin kya karu tum toh badi doctor ho"

"woh toh mein hoon" He grins at her, and she smiles back at him. with a dramatic sigh, she follows behind him as he leads them back to the warmth of their home inside.

Akshara watches Abhimanyu as he retrieves a towel and hands it to her, urging her to dry her hair ensuring that she doesn't fall sick. His concern made her heart flutter, she was growing very used to his presence around. Though he didn't live with them and left during the nights and at times didn't make an appearance at all other than for her checkup, the few moments she spent with him were enough to leave her curious.

No matter how much he denied it, she had a deep feeling that their relationship wasn't just as mere family friends. Over the past week that they had spent in Jaipur, she had made slight progress remembering random parts of her life especially after hours of talking with her family over the phone. She hadn't failed to notice how her family also seemed relatively close with him, always exchanging a glance of understanding whenever she called with his presence around.

She knew all of this could be brushed off with a claim that family friends were obviously going to be close together and after all he was there to look after Abhir and her, making them trust him. Yet, one of the major parts was her son- Abhir. She had grown close to him, and certain actions of his felt eerily familiar. At times, she felt the need to tell him that he behaved just like his... but she would lose her train of thought and they would drop the whole topic.

Her attention turned back to Abhimanyu, who was picking up a box from the table. As she watched him, her mind brought up one significant question.

'yeh rishta kya kehalata hai'

"This was sent for you by Aishwarya ji" He says handing her the box, she sits down and sends an impressed look in his direction.

As she unwrapped the ribbon and flipped open the top, once her eyes landed on the contents a pleasant gasp escaped her lips and one hand flew to her mouth. It was an elegant pure silk saree with customary golden linen designs, she skims the material through her fingertips and notices the rich feel to it. Inside there's a letter, and she quickly flips it open with a sense of urgency as she reads it,
