Akshara aimlessly walked out into the road in front of her. Jaipur had been undergoing it's rainy season, and rain was expected to fall almost every day. Yet today it was harsher as it hit her delicate skin and soaked her sheer saree. Her head pained, a sharp sensation passed through the frontal part and she held a wall for assurance, her knees were incredibly weak too.
She perservered, once she remembered that Abhir was at home and must have awoken by now. The red paint from the wall moved itself onto her fingers and hands staining them a vibrant red.
Her hands shook violently and her salty tears mixed with the cool rain droplets on her face, she stared at the red tainting her hands and her heart hammered in it's chest almost trying to break free. She felt a sharp bolt to her head, and in an instant she could see herself with blood stains on her hands, and the next thing she knew she remembered her standing with her eyes closed hands pressed against her ears, dressed in white. Everything came back to her, starting with that wretched day but the tear that ripped her heart open started healing as her past with Abhimanyu came back and all the happiness and love that had whirlwinded into her life through him, healed her in a figurative sense. She had recalled everything, from the moment she had met him to the day in the hospital room.
A estrangled scream escaped her lips as her head spun and a second later, she was engulfed in darkness as her body collapsed onto the floor.

Abhimanyu chugged a bottle of water down, trying to calm his nerves.
He had let her down, once again.
The right thing was for him to let her be, give her some time before facing her and proposing they move back to Udaipur. He was doing everything to be a better person because he feared he could only bring damage to his loved ones. Yet images of her begging him to tell her the truth and sobbing about how he had stolen their past from her rushed back to him.
To hell to doing the right thing, he thought.
He knew he needed to go see her.
He rushed out, adrenaline in his veins as an uneasy sensation filled him. He felt as if something wasn't right, he pushed through a small crowd of people who were standing around helplessly.
He felt his heart stand still.
It was his Akshara, lying unconcious. He didn't leave another second before kneeling next to her and pulling her onto him. He feverently rubbed her hands warm, and tapped her face slightly.
"Akshara please wake up" He cried, into her as he pulled her closer to him. "Akshara please, I'm so sorry"
he checked for a pulse and he couldn't breathe once he realized that there was barely anything. "Akshu please, wake up you need to wake up. You can't leave me like this or Abhir"
He gathered her into his arms, and lifted her up in bridal style. And rushed to their house before shoving the doors open, startling Aishwarya who was lounged in the living pouring a cup of chai.
"Abhimanyu!" She rushed over to him alarmed, but he pushed past her and lay akshara down on their couch.
"please baba breathe for me" He rubbed Akshara's hands, before he instructed Aishwarya to bring him warm blankets and start the fireplace. "I will never ever let anything happen to you again, please"
"I won't forgive you either" He said, as he wrapped blankets around her. Aishwarya headed upstairs to the kids leaving the two alone. "I told you that you shouldn't take this much stress during your weak condition. Just the other day you were slightly sick. and i told you.... oh god akshu"
