Abhimanyu taps his leg repeatedly, he knows he's being paranoid but he can't help it. They had been on multiple rides, mainly abhir, but now Akshara and Abhir were going on a roller coaster together and though it wasn't a massive one nor was it any scary he was still scared out of his mind if something happened to Akshara.

"Akshara" He lightly grabbed her elbow, and she turned around with a smile that quickly disappeared by the look on his face. "What if your head hurts on the ride?"

She tilts her head with a smile, almost as if she was holding back a laugh. "Abhi I have a tumor, that will not grow or get effected by going on a ferris wheel. That's not how biology works"

"Yeah, but you could get a headache and it would cause you a lot of pain, which also is a common symptom for your tumor." He argues back, and the fear was clear in his voice.

"Nothing is going to happen, don't stress about it" She pleads, abhir was standing in front of them admiring the ride they were about to go on so he couldn't hear anything. "Please, at least for abhir"

He stares at her for a long moment and when she pouts he finally gives in after sneaking a glance at Abhir's excited face, he was going to try his hardest to not be stressed.

Akshara gives him a thumbs up before the ride starts and he tries smiling back but it turns out more like a grimace, instead he focuses his whole attention on recording them. Surprisingly, it ends pretty quickly and the both of them rush to him with adrenaline in their system overall looking very happy.

"That was so fun! We have to go on one too docman!" Abhir says once he links hands with the both of them on either side once again. "Please"

"I don't like rides" Abhimanyu says, shrugging his shoulders while Akshara turns to him surprised.

"Really?" She asks and he just nods. Abhir notices the exchange and decides now is a good time to continue his investigation.

"Ok docman, I'm hungry can we sit and eat" Abhir asks, feigning hunger and tiredness.

"Good idea junior" Abhimanyu says, lifting up Abhir into his arms to make sure he doesn't exert himself too much.

They order fries, burgers and shakes much to Abhimanyu's disdain, but he let's it slide just this once.

"Mumma have you gone to amusement parks when you were younger" Abhir asks, taking a long slurp of his chocolate shake.

"Abhir not so fast" Akshara scolds, while dabbing a napkin on his mouth. "And to answer your question, i went once with my papa but i was very young and only remember a few moments with him otherwise everything else is through photographs"

Abhir nods, before turning to Abhimanyu "What about you, docman"

"I didn't go" Abhimanyu says, he left it at that not wanting to dwelve into his childhood. He had some of the worst memories in his childhood and he spent most of it as a bridge between his parents. A lot of times he was desperate to leave his house, but his mother also drew him back. He wasn't allowed to do things most kids did when they were younger because the Birlas were expected to be different.

Akshara gives him a soft smile knowing what his mind was remembering, and he smiles back signalling that he was okay. Abhir oblivious to this whole thing, decides to ask a daring question, "Did you meet when you were younger?"

They both of them are taken aback, and share an akward look not really knowing how to go forward with this, but knowing that they couldn't lie to him as they had promised him that they would answer all his questions regardless of context.
