34. Sneaky Love

The party was over and so were many other things. Some started anew, some found partners and some lost their acquaintances.

In Jungkook and Taehyung's case they were at a benefit because certainly they found each other which they both wanted.

After that confession and that kiss, they surely felt that they were so worth each other.

Taehyung has this tendency to judge people beforehand knowing them and certainly Jungkook turned out to be one of the examples.

He really found this guy intriguing and unique in a way, just very worth knowing and Jungkook turned out to be exactly like that.

Now that they are a thing, they would not back away from showing that load of affection they always had for each other. They were just getting started.

But on the other side Jimin had contemplated a lot and came to a decision that would unfold for everyone eventually because he hated to bring himself into the same situation all over again.

He has to choose himself over V because loving him didn't give him anything good back and now he knows how bad it'll be in future if he doesn't stop here because for now, he belongs to someone else that Jimin can never be.

No one would even ask V what's in his head because most of the time he doesn't even know what he even has in his mind except for a mess. He'll always be the bad guy in the end, he'll always be prone to all the hate but maybe it's never easy to understand people as complex as him.

He has struggled with love all his life that he doesn't even know how to deal with once he gets it.

Love makes him weak and vulnerable, it makes him question his sanity, it brings out that possession in him, that insecurity of losing it and ending up with that guilt of not being able to reply the same amount of love back.

It's better to hurt Jimin by giving him nothing than giving him something less.

He feels loaded by his affection, he did all his life. He protects him because Jimin is one of his people but he hates to admit he can't show love like other normal people.

He was told to stay strong all his life and he grew to make himself stronger but deep inside he was a little guy who didn't get a chance to be a child but was made to grow up before time which caused him to act like that.

And deep inside he knows no matter what life brings for him, he will always have a space in his heart for Jimin.

And he certainly can't be the one to love him.

Now that some sides were solved and some grew messier but nothing seemed to wait for anyone.

The university was back on their academic track and the classes were continuous.

No more party anticipation, no more preparation and no more concerns of finding partners but the upcoming first internal examination without a month or so.

V was back to his unbothered messy self, hoodie and ripped jeans with dark hair over his half upper face when he entered and sat at the back of the class.

He came early because his brother told him to go alone as the younger one would join Jimin on his way. And he wasn't the one to interrupt anymore.

He waited for Jungkook to join him because he's the only reason he attends class.

He pulled out his phone to keep himself busy because he didn't want to face anyone until soon a figure appeared in front of him and he had to look at the side.

"Good morning, babe." To his surprise the girl was already leaning in to place a kiss on his cheek, luckily there were not many students in the class when she did it before sliding next to him.
