Time heals yet tarnishes if something remains untouched. Something like a relationship so complicated that was constantly untouched from all directions and then there was another relationship that was doing just fine but started having signs of time.
V and Jimin were no better throughout this phase of a month, V was gradually healing his knee and with some mobilization exercises he was all fine like before but he still wouldn't be able to face the final of the tournament.
The final of the football match was scheduled almost a month after the semi finals due to internal examination in between.
It was the first examination for them and they had already completed the quarter of their fresher's year. It felt more than that because a lot of events happened in this phase.
As the quarter exams were held and they had a break of life for a while. They needed to submit loads of assignments and study to pass the exams.
Throughout this time Taehyung and Jimin studied yet messed together while Jungkook became the teacher for his peer V since he had missed a lot of classes due to his injury.
Luckily they had less load of syllabus to cover so they gave them nicely, hoping they all pass it and make it to further exams and finals.
This time seemed too hard to pass because both Jungkook and Taehyung's dates were reduced to meeting for a while in a day, mostly busy focusing on their prior jobs as it was important for both of them while V almost felt like he lost Jimin somewhere as their encounters reduced to none but the mere glimpses in the campus would give him enough to survive while for Jimin he used this time to keep away his kind from this disease called V.
But did it really help? Maybe not.
Because only Taehyung knows how Jimin always asked about V's well being until he was healed, never shutting the blonde off when he would talk about his brother amid any conversation randomly and never missed a chance to catch a sight of him from afar even when the taller one wouldn't know it.
Maybe this was needed, needed for what was about to come.
Just like this it was finally the day of the final football match and luckily Namjoon's team, the Red team, Diamond Dynamos made it to the finals with the Yellow team, Karate Kickers.
The university was very excited to see which team of which department will have that crown and the game was scheduled to be on the last Saturday of the month.
There was another level of relief due to the end of exams plus after the match, Jungkook would be free enough to go on as many dates as Taehyung had in his list.
Taehyung was so excited to meet his boyfriend before the match that the first thing he did in the morning was to prepare a healthy meal for him as always promised which he went in to hand in in his locker room in early morning.
He accompanied Jimin on his way to University as always while his elder brother would walk a little later after him to not clash timings with the other one who he thinks is mostly bothered by his presence.
But these fools were onto adding pressure to the lava inside their volcanos.
The excited blonde dressed cutely in his loose sweater and loose jeans, minimal jewelry and adorable face adorned with his moles and beautiful brown eyes under his blonde hair, for sure Jimin had to pair up with him in the style, wearing clothes larger than his size, the epitome of petite if you ask anyone.
The first thing they did was to meet Jungkook and so they made their way to his locker room before their classes would start.
Jungkook was obviously busy preparing for the game so he was not in his locker room but the ground itself so it took a while for his cheerleaders to get to him but luckily they found him outside where they found the said male stretching his limbs and talking to his teammates.
