Life doesn't wait for anyone, it keeps floating by, some get behind the flow and some remains stable in the pace or some gets stuck in the timeline like a still life.
But as always, life goes on.
Like this, the days passed by, the university bombarded the students with their new schedule and the forthcoming internal exams datesheet. Alongside it ran the tournament within the university, the selected teams of the previous match would then play against each other to aim for the first spot.
The periods for attending their clubs were reduced to twice a week and new interactions almost paused, now all that they got were those they knew.
In short it's a phase of tranquility where focus on studies is on priority.
During this time, Taehyung and Jungkook grew closer and closer, more like an inseparable duo who can never get tired of kisses. Jungkook is fond of this cute blonde and Taehyung is obsessed with his strong hot boyfriend.
They were keeping it lowkey for the sake of not being in eyes, Jimin knew, V was hinted but they didn't give two fucks as they loved their pace.
They would take time for dates, Jungkook would make up for the days he fed him mint choco by trying Taehyung's favorite things but Jungkook actually loved what he loves because maybe he has a complex palette of tastes.
They were like friends in some ways as they loved to enjoy things together, enjoy time playing or watching movies, having food or hanging out a lot and sometimes Jimin was part of their dates and Jungkook would wish V would also join him but he couldn't.
The other side Jimin started to find his own pace, working with that empty void in him because of not doing anything, he missed V as a friend, as a mate to always bicker and clash with but someone to get along with.
At the same time he hated how he's always the one to care, always the one to make it work but this time he gave up too. If not anything, at least he was a friend to V but maybe they came to a point where fixing what they messed up is a big deal and none of them were ready for it.
In this time he grew closer to Yoongi. They get along pretty well, sometimes in University or sometimes even off schedule. Jimin started growing interest in music and Yoongi became his new piano tutor. Well, Jimin still messes up but it's fun to learn.
And V? V was still stuck in a maze. Somewhere a part of him just got lost by losing Jimin. He misses his company, he misses his presence, his bickering, his cute cheeks, his little frame and everything about him.
But at the same time he lost his courage to even approach the day Jimin clearly said he doesn't mean a damn thing to him once, more like a brother of his best friend he has always been. That thing has hurt him like no other and to this day he can't believe they had all of it and Jimin still didn't care addressing him even just as a friend.
If you keep feelings aside they were amazing friends, just like Jimin, V was missing his friend but some things are out of his control and throughout this time what he got to learn is that he'll never be someone Jimin wants to be around.
None of them have broken the silence since. None of them spoke a single word to each other. They see, more like they stare at each other but with Jimin's glance barely being for milliseconds while V's eyes would trail him all the time.
His relationship with Stacy didn't exceed more than a situationship. She wants a label but he has already cleared it for her that he would end up breaking her heart and she took full responsibility for it and decided not to be apart, for as long as they go on.
They are mostly together when one of them needs each other and the next moment, they are back to life.
It feels odd to him in some ways but it's easier this way than to get his strings attached.
