Broken hearts make no noise. If they did, the world would never know what silence is.

This was certainly the case with Jimin, not just because V chose to leave him hanging in the middle of a fuss, but because of how V might have been feeling at the time.

V had his reasons.

But perhaps this was never truly the case with Jimin. He was usually confident in expressing his feelings. Yet when it came to V, he hesitated, fearing he might lose him.

Which was possibly happening right before his eyes.

It wasn’t just one reason breaking his heart—it had always been breaking. He was witnessing a scene he had seen before, watching someone disappointed in him.

The last person was Yoongi.

Jimin didn't hold much within him to express, but he had a turmoil inside that couldn’t be conveyed.

He loves V so much that he would die for him, but at what cost?

V had every right to state his insecurities, and Jimin was responsible for guiding him through them. But he couldn't, leaving him disappointed in himself, just as Yoongi and V seemed to be.

There’s no feeling like self-loathing, and Jimin was drowning in it.

The day was certainly not in his favor. Perhaps, he wasn't the only one.

"Smoking cigarettes won’t make it better, buddy. There’s no harm in sharing, is there?" J-hope asked, joining his friend on the terrace of the college building.

Yoongi only stared into space, a cigarette between his fingers.

"Will sharing fix what was never broken? Or will it give me back what I never had?" Yoongi questioned and J-hope stretched out his hand to place it on Yoongi's shoulder.

"Just say it already. You scare me when you’re like this. You said you weren’t motivated enough to touch that old mixtape project, and now you’ve finished it all in a month. And you only did so when you were…" J-hope stopped himself from finishing the sentence, but then he took a deep breath and said, "going through something."

Yoongi simply turned around and gave his friend a nonchalant smile.

"It’s a good thing, I guess. To achieve one dream, I have to sacrifice others. Maybe I’m not completely at a loss." As he whispered, his friend frowned.

"You’re worrying me."

And Yoongi simply chuckled.

"I think the same." As Yoongi whispered, his smile disappeared. J-hope’s heart sank, and he couldn’t help but pull his friend into a hug he didn’t know Yoongi needed.

Strong people tend to have the most fragile souls and even weaker hearts.

"The game doesn’t even seem like a game anymore. Is he serious? Are we really doing that?"

Jungkook asked himself as he found himself on the stairs of his department. With a can of Coke in his hand, he sipped while staring tensely into space, his eyebrows furrowed.

His face was as red as the hoodie he wore, emotions tight like the jeans on his thighs.

Jungkook spent the entire lunchtime simply watching Taehyung mingling with a crowd of strangers—strangers to Jungkook, but familiar to Taehyung as Wooshik’s friends.

Taehyung was being babied by the group of seniors as they all talked about various things.

Jungkook couldn’t tolerate the scene for more than a few minutes and decided to leave for good. It wasn’t like he cared watching his boyfriend talking with his seniors, but not when they had signed this NDA of being nothing but immature brats.
