22. Sometimes Shit Hurts

A pair of best friends that's always so compatible, almost like enemies for each other but deep inside containing feelings they can't express, it's something Jimin and V could both equally relate to.

Having his head against his pillow in the night, Jimin's first attempt of sleeping would end him up thinking of V, the things he does on a daily basis. They sometimes are so casual and sometimes so not casual, sometimes like friends and sometimes like enemies but that's all that he could do with V.

He still remembers how on a sudden day of middle school everything changed between them over a fight, things never remained the same since. He loved and cared for the elder twin like no other but somewhere Dowoo didn't like it and it all changed overnight.

He still doesn't know the reason and it takes him into another zone sometimes but he tries to brush his thoughts away because a new guy walked into his life, so intriguing for him. And he can't let his mind linger around the one who doesn't even feel the same for him.

Yoongi seems like a nice guy, he has a dangerous aura but deep inside he is just as soft as he seems. He is good at games, music and academics and his personality is a cherry on top.

He seems like a nice guy, Jimin would want to give it a try, let time do its thing and if it brings them closer in the process, Jimin is not gonna run away from it.

But despite everything there's a heaviness in his heart that has been constant for as many years as he has known Dowoo.

It angers him, it hurts him, it kinda breaks him apart whenever he thinks of the other one and the fact that probably he'll never know how many sleepless nights full of tears were wasted for him, how many times that heart had been ached for him and what else not.

He couldn't realise his teardrops soon wetting his pillow, fuck, it is happening again.

Jimin tried to wipe his tears away as soon as possible, tossing over and not deciding to stare at the ceiling for longer. He acts cool and strong for others but that down side of him was still in existence because of a guy and that guy being someone he couldn't convince to love him the same.

The pair of new friends who get to know each other in less time, always together but feel like they missed each other when they are not around and that's being Jungkook and Taehyung.

Taehyung has fallen for Jungkook the very first time he saw him. Something about him makes him so different and amazing. That one look being a result of his attraction but once he got to discover the inside of him, things never remained the same.

Jungkook is strong and he's just as soft from the inside. He's silly, he gets along with him easily, he doesn't judge him or ever make him feel any less or any different.

He feels all those great feelings for him but he never for once expected Jungkook to feel the same. Maybe an outcome of his underconfidence that expected Jungkook to just take him as a friend.

He has seen him with that girl, fears Taehyung that he's straight as expected and might never even for once consider him anything but that doesn't hurt him as much as it hurts when he thinks of not having the other besides him.

Be it just a friend or something more, Taehyung loves his company a lot and that's the reason he couldn't dare say or do anything to let himself be seen or heard.

He fears losing Jungkook, even as just a friend but at the same time it's impossible to not imagine a future with him as something more. He'll love him like crazy if Jungkook gives him a chance to.

Oh for sure he would do.
