42. You Deserve Better

It was something V wanted to do for so long, the reason he didn't even start a good beginning with her was because he hated to not love someone to the fullest. And she didn't deserve it at all.

Just when the break was there the students gradually left the class, but V didn't budge and texted Stacy to wait as well so they could talk while Jungkook decided to just stand outside and wait.

Meanwhile, the other side, Taehyung and Jimin left their classes to make their way to the cafeteria but Taehyung wanted to make sure his brother is alright and is able to come.

Just when he texted Jungkook, asking about his brother, Jungkook gave him a response that V was with Stacy for a talk.

Taehyung frowned slightly when he looked at the screen, he never approved of that girl.

But anyway, he decided to go to Jungkook instead.

"Jiminie, let's go to their department, we gotta get Dowoo's ass here to eat." Taehyung said midway before Jimin could walk towards the cafeteria, the little one looked at his friend with bewilderment and tried to stop his friend from dragging him away.

"Wait, why?" Jimin asked, stopping in his tracks.

"Because he's with her wasting time instead, I bet after seeing you he'll instantly come. And we haven't eaten together in a while." As Taehyung said Jimin knitted his eyebrows together, adorably annoyed.

"And why would I do that?"

"Because I want you to, come on." Taehyung tried to drag him again but Jimin just pulled his hand back.

"You can go, I have to catch Yoongi."

"Aren't you spending too much time with him these days?"

"Bitch did I say the same when you dumped my date plans to go out with Jungkook instead, fuck you." Jimin snapped and that's when Taehyung stepped forward to cup his cheeks and squeeze them to bring his adorable beak out.

"Okay, you have the break time. I want you to be with me after an hour, got it?" Taehyung asked and Jimin nodded and soon earned a forceful smooch on his forehead before his bestie turned around to hop away in his baggy clothes and backpack.

Jimin just stood there and sighed.

"Hey buddy, where's your other half?"

"You mean my best friend?"  Jungkook responded to one of his classmates Mingyu who was just walking through the corridor to get into the class again, deciding to stop by to find Jungkook standing there.

"Yeah, V, how's he?"

"He's better, for now inside the class."

"Why?" The guy asked followed by a chuckle.

"With her, it'll take a while." As Jungkook informed, Mingyu nodded understandingly.

"No issue, I'll come back here again to get my stuff later."

Jungkook gave him a nod.

"Anyway, you know Yugyeom and Rebecca are kinda dating right now." As Mingyu started, Jungkook looked him right in the eyes unbothered.

"And why are you telling me this?"

"Because you and Rebecca were-"

"We were nothing, buddy. And I don't know what class talks about us." Jungkook said calmly and Mingyu nodded casually.

"There was some chemistry between you two though."

"And I failed all my chemistry classes in the past." Jungkook said ironically and Mingyu chuckled.
