Chapter 11: 

Caroline’s POV

I looked one more time in the mirror trying to make myself presentable and walked down stairs. I slowly headed to the door and opened it to see Nate in dark jeans and a black t-shirt and his hair all messy. CAN YOU SAY SEXY?! What the freak?! Where did that come from?! I shook that thought out of my head and looked up at him.

“Come in!” I said. 

“So what did you find out about Ally and Jake?” He asked walking in.

“Not a lot, but some interesting things.” I said thinking back to Stacey.

I led him into our plain living room and sat down on the couch, he sat next to me.

“Okay, so what did you get?” He asked, practically bouncing out of his seat with excitement.

“Apparently Ally and Jake got pretty wasted at a party.” I said to begin with.

“Oh, I think that was Cam’s party.” He said thinking. 

I should have known. Cam was known for his parties. He had the drugs, drinks, and the huge house. If you got invited then you were pretty special. Ally and I get invited every time, but we hardly ever went. 

“Probably, but anyways. Ally said she saw Stacey kiss Jake and he didn’t pull away. Then, she saw Stacey take him upstairs and he also didn’t stop her on that either.” I said with disgust laced through my voice.

“Are you shitting me?!” Nate’s voice boomed through my empty house.

“No?” I winced.

“I hate her so freaking much..” He said angrily.

“I know, and the sad thing is, is that Ally still loves Jake.” I said sadly.

“Well that should make it just a tiny bit easier.” He said sighing. 

“Would you mind talking to Jake? To get his side of the story.” I asked.

“Sure, I’ll call him right now.” Nate said pulling out his phone.

Nate’s POV

I am extremely pissed inside. How could Jake do that to Ally?! Even though I didn’t know Ally that well, it made me so mad that Jake would cheat on a girl. Even though I’m the school player, I would never cheat on someone for that Cake Face. I looked over at Caroline as I dialed Jake’s number and took in her appearance. She was wearing shorts and a shirt that hung off her shoulder. She looked beautiful. Wha- I was taken out of my thoughts when Jake answered.

“Hey man, what’s up?” Jake said into the phone.
