10- Closer

Taehyun ran to the bus stop as soon as he left the school, he was already late and he didn't want to make his dad more angry than he probably is right now.

The bus hadn't arrived so he had to wait a little, so he took his headphones out and let the music run through his ears.

He hummed to the song and sat on a nearby bench while putting his head on the headboard.

He was getting cozy and comfortable when something broke through the walls of his comfort.

He looked up only for his eyes to widen. There, right in front of him was none other than Choi Beomgyu.

"What are you doing here?" He asked, still processing the fact that the rich Beomgyu was taking the bus.

"I didn't use my car today to come to school so I have to use the bus, now can you move so I can sit here too?" Beomgyu explained.

Taehyun didn't say anything and just nodded, he then scooted down a little to give space for Beomgyu too.

Beomgyu was on his phone, playing some game and then he remembered something. He had never gotten Taehyun's number, even though the two seem to be on good terms now.

So right now was the perfect chance for him to do so, so he turned towards Taehyun and tapped his shoulder.

Taehyun opened his eyes as a sign that 'go on I'm listening'.

"Hey, I realized we never got to-" he was interrupted by a phone ringing, so he stopped. It was Taehyun's phone so he answered it.

"Okey" was all Taehyun said on the phone and then was hung up on, he gave his attention to Beomgyu once again.

"Sorry, what were you saying?" He asked, Beomgyu heaved a sigh and then decided to ask again.

"We have never exchanged nu-" "oh the bus is here '' Taehyun said. Beomgyu, once again was interrupted but this time it was because the bus had arrived.

The two got on the bus and looked for a seat, fortunately or unfortunately there was only one seat left, so one had to stand up. But at that time an old lady got on the bus and sat on the last empty chair.

The two young boys just watched it happen with their mouths hung open, now this time unfortunately both of them had to stand up.

With a sigh they walked to the back of the bus and held onto the handgrip, even though Taehyun and Beomgyu didn't have much of a height difference, Taehyun had to stand on his tip toe for his hands to reach the handgrip.

Beomgyu smiled at the sight to which he got a glare from the shorter, so it was a 'laugh or die' challenge and he didn't want to die in Taehyun's hands so he stopped smiling.

"For your information, I'm pretty tall, so don't make fun of me" Taehyun stated while still glaring at Beomgyu, but this time less deadly.

"Yeah yeah I know you are so tall" Beomgyu teased but then the bus started so he just shut his mouth.

A few minutes later the bus stopped suddenly because of red lights, Taehyun who was standing in front of Beomgyu suddenly lost his balance and fell on top of Beomgyu.

For his safety he held Beomgyu's shoulder while his head was pressed against the older's chest. Beomgyu, for his own safety too, held Taehyun's slim waist.

"Woah" Beomgyu let out and held Taehyun's waist tighter since he was about to fall.

But once he looked down at the younger, he couldn't help but smile a little and his cheeks were also a little red.
